Default Weird Question for CAS?
I'm not sure if I'm even posting this in the right section, but I've been having this annoying issue for a while -- I hope if I'm not in the right section, please let me know so I can post it there.

I know some people like to start their gameplay stories (aka main character) at a certain age, and for me it's teens. I wanted to know since there is a mod for the pudding face , that maybe there was a mod where the face doesn't change when they age up from teen to YA? I spend so much time on my sim's face as a teen and I wish that her face (his face not as much -- actually, I'm upset that the male sims don't really change at all from teen to YA ) didn't lose I guess that baby fat look? teens transitioning into YA end up with features more pointy and more defined look instead of a more soft look (lips and cheeks are the biggest issue) To spend a long time on my teen going into YA and it doesn't even look the same sometimes is exhausting, so I thought if anyone ever had the same issues as me (sorry I guess I'm being particular) that hopefully a mod was made.

If there is something similar, please let me know!

Thank you!

I haven't come across a head mod for that, other than an anime head override. You can edit the sim as an adult to have your desired face, then change their age to back to teen. Just note that the teens will look puffier.

I don't think I ever had this issue with my teen females? If anything, they end up looking like clones of the mom when they age up. But, if you want to try it, perhaps make your Sim as a YA, then age her back to teen?

Thank you both for your advice. I tried to work on it this week with making the same face as a YA and it appears that something is wrong with me because I feel like I can't get her to look how she looked as a teen. Her jaw feels like it's a thousand miles below the sea. I'll have to keep working on it

Hopefully she will look the way I want her in my head or i'll have to extend her life to the max or make my character to not age up, even though I want her to actually graduate and get a job, i'm thinking too far ahead

wait, so does this mean if I want my sim as an adult she will be a teen? for example if I want my elder sim to look like a child, will that elder sim be a child? I hope that wasn't a stupid question, but like I'm excited and confused at the same time

No, you make your Sim. Make as teen first if you want... hair, clothes, accys, make up, for all categories. Then save to bin. Age her up to YA, and remake her... hair, clothes, etc etc, and save THAT version of her to bin. Age up to adult, then elder, making adjustments and save to bin. Then select your teen Sim and play. When she ages up in game, take her to CAS, and switch whatever aged up with the saved YA.

OOOOOOHHH forgive me
Yes, I've done this for years, issue for me is that I'm being too persnickety with how she looks as an YA. It'll take me some time to make my YA to look just like my teen because there's somethings that are different for YA that it won't allow me to get the exact shape (in the face).

Well, YA/A head and body meshes are different from teen meshes, so I imagine there's a limit to matching exactly.

And I just now thought of this, which is odd, since I do it often... Nraas MC, Advanced> Transfer Genetics> Full Transfer, or Sliders Only. I had to do this just yesterday, when a Sim aged up and went pudding. My current issue seems to be from a mod that messed things up, and have since removed, but Sims now age up to all 0's showing on sliders.

My Sim had a sister to transfer from. I guess you'd have to put both teen and YA in game temporarily to transfer genetics from one to the other?

FYI... If you use full transfer from YA to teen, the teen will stretch to YA height... basically removing the teen offset.

I haven't tried that before, thank you, I'll try that and see what happens! Thanks so much!
