The "Beehive Ponytail " hairstyle from Sims 3 Store is for age stage for young adult to elder. But I found that it only showed up for young adult or adult female in CAS.
I extracted the file with Sim3Pack Multi Installer. There are two package files of this hairstyle for adult and elder. I have checked the gender and age categories with S3PE and they are correct. However, the one for Elder still doesn't show up.
Even this is not a problem in gameplay. Would someone help me to solve it? Thanks in advance.

That sounds like a conflict to me.

Remove the elder variant from the game, and then make the adult version hairstyle also available for elders sims with S3PE .

I don't buy store stuff, BUT... Most CC hair can be T, YA, A, E. The only thing this does, is elder hair may not show as gray thumbnail in CAS. Most default hair is T, YA, A, as the same CAS part number. Elder uses all of the same textures, but has a different CASP and thumb.

Try checking the boxes in S3PE so the package for YA/ A is tf thru ef, then put only that package in to test.

If the age availability change didn't work you can merge the two packages together and test in game if anything has changed.

The only way I found was editing the age category of adult package with S3PE to include both adult and elder. However, the hairstyle appears twice with both adult and elder colour in CAS at once.

Sounds like you didn't remove the elder package?
