My name is Jenny, I’ve been lurking, reading and downloading here for the past 20 years (wow), although never created an account since I’ve always been more active in the Sims communities in my native language.
However, a couple of months ago I was inspired to create a custom Pleasantview version, had an another custom neighbourhood idea and decided to first register and maybe find play testers here
Speaking of which, I myself am a professional QA and worked in gamedev for quite a bit I play TS2 since childhood, moved to the TS3 and later to TS4, but never loved any of these as much as TS2… I created a couple of bug fixes for TS4, don't play it lately though 'cause it feels like being at work again haha. I think that poking around in SimPE as a kid is what actually drove me to Computer Science in the first place. I like trying out different mods, creating custom neighbourhoods and experimenting with the gameplay. My favourite challenge is the Apocalypse I also know a lot about how TS2 and TS4 work internally and have a lot of opinions about premades :D
So yeah, glad to finally be a part of the community it’s better late than never, I guess :D
