Default SunMoon Functional Fires - Bug where sims steal firewood nightly
Hello,
I have a bit of an odd issue in one lot only. It's related to SunMoon's Functional Fires 2.0, but not caused by it, I think? It seems related to the gnome stealing action.

So, essentially, every single night, the two sims who live there get up in the middle of the night to steal back bundles of firewood. Every night, the number to steal back is the maximum number that fit in the action queue and, as soon as one bundle is stolen back, another will come up and take its place. If cancelled, they come back very quickly, for example, a few minutes into the next action scheduled. If I don't cancel them immediately, they are prioritised over everything. My sims will do this, even when their energy bar is fully drained, nothing stops them. Sometimes, in the day, separately to the weird firewood stealing, they refuse to let an action join their action queue and the little image square moves up to the queue and then instantly disappears.

It did not occur straight after installing functional fires or any other mods, but happened seemingly randomly at a point where I hadn't installed extra custom content or mods for a while. Wondering if that suggests corruption of this specific lot (and, if yes, what advice is)? I have noticed that on that specific lot, ACR 2.0 is also totally wacky, but is fine on other lots. Sim settings were not being retained for more than a few real life moments and constantly reset. Usually I have the controller on the lot, but in the end, I set the sim settings and then deleted the ACR controller, which seems to have maintained the individual settings a little longer. However, when the settings weren't being retained, they were at it multiple times a day and, again, prioritising the action above anything else.

On this lot, I also have SunMoon Winemaking. I did also have an issue where Pets couldn't go to work, but I solved it, it was just that I'd accidentally downloaded a slightly out of date mod and when I replaced it with the right one, the issue was solved. Both the sims on the lot have a custom job made by me (Vineyard Cultivator), but this issue didn't show up in my Test Hood with the custom career.

I tried using the Batbox and nuking stuck scenarios, as I thought it was likely to be counted as a scenario. It said it had removed or fixed 1 file, but it hasn't actually fixed it. I've got no real techy brainpower, so not sure what else to try and don't want to cause an accidental corruption by faffing about.

Any ideas? Every other lot is absolutely fine and I haven't had any other weird issues anywhere, bar one sim getting stuck on a restaurant date in another neighbourhood and an apartment issue linked to build mode where a wall came through a floor and stopped Sims moving around. It's a Maxis template neighbourhood that I've been building from scratch.

Have you tried posting on PBK and asking Sun and Moon about it?

I haven't, thanks, Charity. I'll try that. Part of the reason I haven't is that I don't feel like it can be caused by the mod as such if it's only happening in one household and all the other households are functioning fine? (Also, didn't realise PBK was an option Newbie syndrome)
