Default Teen-YA Sim couple unable to cuddle or do anything intimate on the couch
So I got a mod from Nraas which allows for Teen & Young Adult Sims to have romantic relationships. However, I just noticed that my Teen & Young Adult Sims are unable to cuddle on the couch let alone do any other intimate romantic actions (e.g. Kiss, Make out, etc.). Like literally, the option in the pie does not show up. It only shows up with the Young-Adults-&-older couple sims. Does anyone else seem to have this problem?

Also, while at it, I also noticed the new interactions in TheSweetSimmer's More Romantic Interactions mod also is not available for my Teen/Young-Adult couple; only in the young-adult-&-older Sim couples. Is there a way to have those interactions available for my Teen/Young-Adult Sim couple?

I'll assume you're using the WooHooer. You'll want to check to make sure you also have it set to "Show interactions under romance" and if you have Story Progression, see if it is linked to your story progression settings. If you don't have them linked, the Woohooer settings will be used instead of the Story Progression ones. I usually only use Woohooer to set if (and where) couples use pajamas before woohoo and to turn off being able to woohoo in your kids' treehouse so I might be missing a setting.

Linked to Story Progression = False, checked
Show Interaction under Romance = true, checked.

¯_(ツ)_/¯

I noticed too, can't cuddle in hot tubs either.

In my experience you need to go through Story Progression as well as Woohooer and enable the teen caste as romantic partners over and over: there's a lot of settings pertaining to it and you just have to hunt them all down.

Probably best place to ask about these issues would be LL. Over there we can provide answers more freely regarding X-rated mods.
Not intending to route anyone away from MTS, but here we are more restricted in dealing with and supporting adult mods.
If I have questions about KW (in KW enabling interactions with teens takes you just one mouse click), for example, I will not ask them here. I am here for all the regular stuff.

Or, even better, ask right here: https://www.nraas.net/Woohooer

As for the more romantic interactions mod not working on teens: The mod creator simply did not make the interactions available for teens. Not a bug, it is as designed. Keep in mind that romantic interactions with teens are restricted in the base game and that mod was made for vanilla game functionality. You could ask the mod creator, if they are willing to make a version that includes teens (or use S3PE to edit it yourself), but chances are the answer will be a resounding "No", depending on their views. For quite a few people that is a grey to black area, since teens are exactly that: Not of legal age. In game terms they are probably anywhere between 10 and 18 years of age. Above that (university able age) you are already considered young adult.

Where will you live, if you can't even live with yourself?

As an aside, Woohooer hits all levels of romance and could be used to make the qualifications on who can use romantic interactions more strict (limiting woohoo to married couples for historic play for example).

I would probably argue here that I am quite sure that even back in the day people did not restrict themselves to marriage, as much as the church would have loved that. It was just less documented. I mean, what were you gonna do? Ask the monk in the next monastery to add it to a book?

As I just wrote you on LL:
That interaction is indeed unavailable for teens, even with other circumventing mods like KW.
However, what I thought about after, was to maybe try and find that interaction in NRAAS Retuner. You can set interaction availability for age groups there.
Will give it a shot, next time I fire up the game.

No chance of getting it to work with retuner, either.
But I found a solution for the More Romantic Interactions Mod.
That one I indeed found in Retuner and the interactions can be enabled there for teens. It's in Retuner - XML tuning - and then it is as Savanita.RomanticInteractions in the list of XML tunables. You can get the retuner mod from the NRAAS site. At least once you solved your geo-lock.

Alternatively, if you open the mod in S3PE and open the Sims3.Gameplay.Savanita.RomanticInteractions.Settings, you will find this:

<!-- If enabled, all adult only interactions can be performed by teen sims. -->
<kEnableInteractionsForTeens value="False" />

Just set it to "True". Using Retuner is just simpler. And a quick reminder: Never open a package via S3PE while the game is running, unless you want to kill your PC.

I haven't tested them yet, just enabled them. Will see when I continue later. Just currently busy building more than actually playing.

Not sure if anyone has asked, but are you using Awesome Mod? I heard the creator blocked teen/ adult romance.

Shiny, happy people make me puke!
