Does changing wages affect inactive sims?
Hi! I'm wondering whether changing the Sims' hourly pay affects inactive sims.

I'm using MadamDoofie's realistic wages/minimum wage mod and I can't find any mentions of how it affects inactive households in any of the discussions under that mod. For example I know that gamefreak130's job overhaul mod and skill decay mod don't interfere with inactives.

I guess a really simple solution would be to check someone's job level and income with nraas mc somehow, but I don't know how. As a last resort I could switch households for a day and monitor how much the inactive family's funds increase after a day's work.

If the mod edits the base wages of the careers themselves, then I think it does affect inactives, yes.

Hm... I do think that's what happens. And I finally decided to add SP back into my game and set it up properly, and I got a notification that Susan Wainwright leveled up to Aquatic Ecosystem Tweaker and she now makes 21 simoleons per hour. So, I guess that answers my question?

You can control which sims are allowed / not allowed to progress in their career whether they are playable or townies.

No, I know that, but my question was about whether changing the career pay for my sim also changes it for inactive sims
