Vampire sims can fly over small walls!

I had to put up a wall to stop annoying doorbell ringing, and instructed batsim to fly outside, and sure enough... straight over the wall they flew.

Yes, I think that could annoy me, but I fear the T-pose would annoy me more! I never T-Pose and I don't expect my Sims to do it either!!

T Pose would drive me nuts too. XD But then I don't mind the portrait changes. I didn't remember that they never changed before AL. Sims wearing outdated clothes would annoy me. Maybe that's why they changed it.

I discovered that Sims can find out their partner is cheating by looking at the date flowers/bouquets. No idea how I never noticed that before.

This can happen even if they weren't actually cheating, just keeping their old lovers' bouquets around for some reason.

A love date note from a teen date had been hung up in limbo for some reason (ALfixes? Took it out awhile ago) and something (a neighborhood reset? But this was far from the first one since removing alfixes) triggered it to land in Woody Weiss's mailbox. His wife got the mail and was shocked and hurt - as you would be, if you thought your husband was dating a teen! Fortunately Woody can smooth talk. It isn't even manipulative in this case. A case of the post office delivering mail that had gone astray in the system, many years later.

That placing sims on the black OMSP from Silentlucidity's angled set sometimes makes the entire OMSP jump slightly to a different spot, while the sim OMSP from FW's site doesn't do this.

Never really used the FW version much, but apparently that one works fine. Or maybe my game had a really weird day today, because this usually isn't as frequent (happens once in a whle, maybe). Today it kept happening with almost every pose, even if I'd frozen the sim and all...

I used to only use the cheap mirror as I liked the looks of it much more than the expensive ones... then I switched to usin the cabinet one as I found that they can brush their teeth, which I've seen them do autonomously, and wash their face .. cool huh

That toddler to the left is going to be sick on them, then to clean it up they'll brush their teeth.

I just discovered how easy it is to make your own radio station!! But you all probably already knew that…
I thought it was more complicated than just putting the songs in the music folder and then creating a list via the settings (in the game).
Anyway, now I'm going to let my sims party to the makin' magic soundtrack all weekend

So a couple of years ago I posted here about how I thought a sim was broken as they couldn't use magazines (They'd pick it up, and the magazine would vanish.).

Turns out it's a bug that only affects certain sims, as I've now seen it happen in my new save which is a different hood entirely to my previous one where I had seen it. I'm now working on a fix, so far I've got it so they can pick up the magazine and read it (no more disappearing magazine!), but they can't decide on a surface to put the damn thing down on. Once that bit is fixed, all sims in my game can use magazines again.

When a ghost haunts, it can make wall lamps jump! I hardly ever have table lamps so I'm not sure why I never noticed that before.

Reading "cooking" books rapidly depletes the hunger motive, which was really bad for a pregnant sim.

Instant meals. Sims can't fall asleep while eating those.

Turns out, if you muck something up in a mod it can have consequences. Everything was working fine, until it wasn't.

Long story short, I sent a pregnant sim to hospital and it was all dandy right up until the lot loaded in build mode only. Exited, went back to the home lot.. and the sim doesn't return. Just stuck at "go somewhere". Taxi showed up, stopped, drove off. But alas not with my sim lol.

Had to go into SimPE, mark the sim, use the teleporter to teleport them into a different household, use cheats to add to family, save, go back to the original household (now not there) and teleport them there, and re-add them to that family.. All sorted. (I know, I could just move the whole family out to achieve the same reset, but then it would sell all furniture and that sucks)

Also fixed that slight mod mishap I made, so they went to hospital safely this time. The moral of the story? Always use the maximum amount of mods.

The moral of the story is make a backup before you start fiddling or use a test hood!

In my defense, I wasn't testing. I was just playing regularly, and had been doing so for 4 hours when this suddenly happened.

I still had the backup from 4 hours earlier, but didn't want to lose those hours.

Well, gummilutt put out a couple mods to fix that (and other things about FreeTime books): Freetime books fixed which just alters the motive changes from FT-specific books, and Book changes, which primarily alters the Fun gain, but also has versions that incorporate "FT books fixed," because the two mods conflict.

You do know about Inge's Stay Things Shrub at simlogical? It keeps everything in the house, except, oddly enough, fireplaces(!). Seeing that fireplaces include a chimney that goes right up and through the roof, you'd think they'd need some serious building work to remove completely!
