As requested by plasticbox:
http://forums.thesimsresource.com/i...t-instructions/

Which is where the link for the Specular tutorial can be found. There's also a Normal Map tutorial linked there.

Someone there could make a tutorial to create an NPC with their own interactions? I would create a waiter / cook functional, but have failed so far only now

The custom clothing tutorial by BlackGarden at Platinum Simmers might be outdated because I believe ColorMagic is broken, and the creator said he was done with it in a blog post.

Yes, I left it in because the actual texturing part (which is what it's mainly about) is still valid, no matter what tools you use to make the package. Like where they show how to overlay stuff and create shadows and so on. To me that seems useful?

Hello.
I am working on my own documentation, that based on existing olds docs, but updated, changed by me, adapted for new instruments and new versions of the game.
Here is main page of the The Sims 4 section of my site - https://lifesim.biz/ts4 .
Here you can find useful modding tools - https://lifesim.biz/ts4/modding-tools
And here are will be tutorials, written or adapted by me - https://lifesim.biz/ts4/tutorials . Now there is one tutorial - How to create a simple mod with pie menu , that based on old tutorial Tutorial - Mailbox Testing Cheats.

Hi, I know this is a old tread but hopefully someone wil still check from time to time.

I'm looking to create a mod and what i want to do is have a random encounter with a ncp on a community lot. so there would be a random change when you are on a community lot for a npc to talk to your sim and from there a sequence of events would occur. I have found a lot on editing and expanding on objects traits and moods. also there is a lot about creating textures. I know there are mods are mods that have a version of this in them but i would really like it if there is someone here who could point me into the general direction to start from. creating the moods, traits and the like will be no problem at all but just the autonomous trigger of the npc is where i am stuck.

all suggestions are welcomed! thanks in advance everyone!
