Default Sims name displays as $NameLocal:0
So i modified my teen sim named "Michael" to have bad relationships with his parents. But he keeps running away! I kept controlling him to avoid doing so, when he ran away for the last time, and when i reported him missing, his name displays as $NameLocal:0 and when i do click on his name an error occurs saying "No stack object present when required". How do i fix this, and how do i bring Michael back?

Try to teleport the person into the world and cancel his interaction with the missing sim object. You can use Charles Object Editor. Select Person, Teleport Near the Editor, Notify Out of Interaction, (if didn't notify) Crash Object.

I think they normally return when the family moves out of the house. But then you lose the furniture and stuff, so that is nor very useful.

Then give him good relationships with someone using Insimenator floating heart to prevent him from running away again.

It looks like the object that tracks the missing sim somehow got its attribute that is supposed to reference that sim's ID set to 0. Possibly it got reset somehow in between the sim running away and you making the phone call.
