3:00 AM doggie seizure.

It's fine, she's fine. Meds have been given, a phone call was made to the emergency clinic since the seizure was just over 3 minutes. A message will be left for doggie neurologist, a email was sent to regular vet which I will follow up with with a phone message later. The last time I sent a 'seizure alert' email, it didn't go through.

It is going to be one of those weeks...

This didn't ruin my day, but....

Progresso Turned Its Chicken Soup into Candy

The very real savory treats are available to purchase this month only.

If you come down with a cold or sore throat, you might reach for a comforting bowl of chicken soup or perhaps a lozenge to feel a bit better. But while most cough drops don’t pair well with noodles and broth, Progresso is mashing up these two concepts into one product: Soup Drops.

Ewww! That's a hard no for me, dawg. It takes literally under 10 minutes to toss a soup together; just make soup. It is cheaper, healthier and not whatever this mess is...

They've obviously lost their minds. Or run out of ideas.
Can't imagine it tasting any good, or that people would regularly buy something like this (apart from the one can just to test it out).
Might as well chew on a chicken stock cube

Sticking with the theme all things cray-cray...

TikTok's 14 Hour Ban Was Absolutely Ridiculous...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nZgt9GknWFs

People calling 911 because TikTok was gone for 14 hours. I hope any police department that got these calls fined the people that made these calls. The fines would be warranted.

tiktoker admits they constructed a fake reality...to sell things?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U7sl0jUCYHU

I expect this level of naive from children, not from a adult who has a YT channel that revolves around talking about junk that happens on the internet. Maybe the whole thing was just rage bait. In the event that it isn't...

The internet is crawling with people doing fake things so they can sell stuff to people that don't need the things they are being sold. People do all kinds of things to make it look like they have a lifestyle they can't afford.

People can rent a 'content house'. https://blog.giggster.com/how-to-re...in-los-angeles/

People can rent a Lamborghini for the day. https://capitalexotic.com/how-much-...capital-exotic/

Most of the crap that is bought for hauls ( clothing, skin care, makeup, ect...) is purchased, then returned.

TikTok ‘shopping hauls’ leave retailers with £7bn in unwanted clothing

TikTok “shopping hauls” are fuelling a costly surge in people returning online orders, with so-called “serial returners” sending back almost £7bn of items a year.

New figures from Retail Economics suggest that these “serial returners” account for around a quarter of all online returns made across the UK every year.

It comes amid the rise of TikTok “haul” trends, where social media users will post videos of themselves trying items on and asking their viewers which items to keep and which to return.

More than 11 million videos have been posted on the platform with the hashtag #KeepOrReturn. More than two thirds of Gen Z shoppers admit to deliberately over-ordering clothes online with a view to returning items.

How about all those fake private jet pics? https://travel.nine.com.au/latest/i...0b-55a8b9c81571

Since the video was about Ice Tok, has anybody every tried eating a raw cranberry? Raw cranberries would do nothing to flavor water if the whole fruit was added and if somebody chewed one, it wouldn't be a pleasant experience. Raw cranberries are bitter; not tasty.

It's all so shocking that a dumb person on a even more stupid platform outed herself. mind blown

Not my whole day, but: I have straight shot view to my backyard when leaving my bedroom. So I got up today, my sensitive eyes still adjusting. Opened my bedroom door and got immediately flashbanged by the sun reflecting off of the shiny rooftiles from a neighbour's house, the roof of 2 cars, the wet stone of my terrace and the tile flooring in my hallway all at once.

I come in peace

My mom made mistakes on my grocery list!

1.) I didn't ask for bread (there's a whole damned loaf of it!)

2.) She bought two caffeinated drinks (I am on medication that would have adverse interactions!)

3.) She bought the wrong type of macaroni and cheese kits (I expected spiral and she bought tubes. I am sick of tubes! That was all I had for a long time!)

I am not in a good mood from the shopping errors and my respiratory illness.

We pay thousands of dollars in property taxes every year and I can't update my library card online. Even more ironic is the fact most of our tax money goes to the schools and yet less than 20% of the students ( any grade) in my local area can read at grade level. The only students that can read grade level and up, with comprehension and all that are the high school students that go to the vocational school.

The media and people on YouTube love to blame the lack of knowing how to read in school systems on Covid. This is has been a problem in my area for many years before Covid was even a thing. Updating a library card is not even a blip on the radar. There admins and other people in our school system that make a 6-figure income. I'm just going to stop. Moving on from my digression...

The library in and of itself I don't have a problem with. I do have a problem with the librarians; they're bitchy and snarky. It has been awhile since I've been to the library, so maybe the bitchy librarians have since left. If not, if they can dish it, they can take it.

Not Lowe's trying to charge me $299.00 for a used air purifier.

I had the store we started at call another store where they had one that hadn't been opened / used. The say that selling used air purifiers is disgusting is a understatement.

We also went to the library. The reason I couldn't update my card is because I was unknowingly wiped from the system. Then I couldn't get a new card because the library was being closed early do to heating problems.

I guess it would have taken too much time and or money to send me a email asking if I wanted to update my card before they removed me from the system.

Work wants me to take over a particular process that is fairly easy (unless I have to answer questions/ explain stuff) but is hard to balance with the rest of my job because it takes so long and there's so much back and forth. I have the minimum knowledge to do it because I'm not a finance/tax specialist (like not my background or job) so obviously I can't access additional materials because I don't have the "right" to do so. Don't really care other than when someone decides to be really rude about it to me. So anyway I've informed my manager to be like hey unavoidable backlog caused by departmental circumstances and was like hey maybe involve that tax partner of ours to sort it out because htey actually know what they're doing and thats obvs a win-win for all of us. Supposedly we'll have an active solution in March.

Another thing that's annoying me is not having any sweets or snacks in the house right now. And if I ask someone to pick some up for me they'll be like you have a cold you should be eating better than this. But sometimes you just really want popcorn and maltesers you know?

Yesterday as I spent far too long grumbling to nobody about how I'm subsidizing people who buy Tesla's who can't afford them via my electric bill, the humidifier I bought back in October, broke.

I don't have this exact one, but it is the same company. Mine is now spitting out a E1 error which means the sensor no longer works. The humidifier still works, but I don't leave it plugged in when I'm not near by as I don't know what would happen if something more serious were to happen. Meanwhile, the Levoit humidifiers I bought in 2020 are still going strong. My tortoise loves her humidifier so I have new, replacement coming which is also a Levoit.

What is one to do when they are chronically annoyed for a day? Download TS4, of course. I've been toying with this idea for awhile and finally made good of it. It took 6 hours to download just over 21 gigs of crap. I can't blame EA for that, but Verizon isn't any better. I digress.

TS4 is perfect out-of-box. It's vibrant, best game ever, doesn't need any mods, blah, blah, blah. We all know those type....

I have no clue what I'm doing with this game right now, but my game settings are set to go as high as they can. Where is all the vibrant, doesn't need mods, blah, blah, blah. Also, I thought Maxis said they fixed the lighting in this game? This is just like when the base game came out now over 10 years ago.

I've since downloaded two lighting mods. I don't know if they'll improve anything or not, but here's the shopped version.

My spidey senses are telling me that there are issues here. I'm going to find of all them because base game. A person could not pay me to spend over $1200.00 on this game. I didn't spend that much for TS1, TS2 or TS3. I'm certainly not doing that here.
