Thank you!!! This came in sooo handy to turn off the Katy Perry junk in the repack versions of the game.

Can folders that will not be used be deleted?

How did you make this work? It doesn't seem to work in any modern Sims 3 install.

This tool is for installs from the retail discs on patch 1.67, for which it still works as intended.
There is a workaround in the comments above for the Steam 1.67 version, and if you're on Origin/EA App 1.69 already has a pack selector built into the launcher.

alright so i did a little workaround. I dont know why I didn't do this a lot sooner after realizing that the program just looks for the directories in the registry.

What I did (after painfully moving/copying/pasting keys and possibly breaking my registry) was:
1. rename the 'Sims(Steam)' folder in Regedit to just 'Sims'. You do this for both of the folders (one in Electronic Arts and the one in WOW6432Node)
2. open the program
3. enable/disable the EPs and SPs you want
4. save your changes
5. change the registry folders back to 'Sims(Steam)'
6. run game w/ desired EPs and SPs

as always, make a backup of your registry before doing any of this!!!
