You can try this mod... https://modthesims.info/d/541800/hu...tural-sims.html There was an older mod, but not tested since patch 1.50

So, I would like to have mod that gives warm and summerlike seasons for southern places but ONLY for southern places.

Nraas' Tempest has you covered It allows you to set up what the weather should be not just for that save file but also for any travel you do (like with Adventures or University). I can't find the original anymore but Buckley's Sims has the tuning file done by GCirelli that sets up (most of) the EA worlds so that they map over to real world places- just import it in as the settings. Isla Paradisio was mapped over to San Juan, Puerto Rico. You may want to swap it so that insects spawn during the winter (which is false by default).

I'd like it if someone could mod out the "Milkin' It Dairy Corral" and the "Fowl and Feathers Chicken Coop" to be other animals besides cows to mimic the Sims 4 animals - llamas, goats, sheep, rabbits. Maybe other different animals like turkeys, ducks, & geese. I don't know what else you'd find on a farm....
The supernatural lover in me wants them also modded so you could harvest meat from the animals as well, so you could have a werewolf family that actually eats meat they've harvested themselves instead of just fishing or going to the grocery all the time.

I have never ever ever gotten the results I want with Tempest. That is, no matter what I do to set the precipitation types and temperature duration, weighting, and so on, the gamne seems to override my settings in some hideopus way and force frost and snow on my worlds right through summer. This is through several different installations on different computers. I just keep re-doing it, though, becvause other people seem to sometimes get Tempest to work.

I’ve had several mod ideas over the time I got back into playing TS3 again, so I guess I’m gonna post all of them here. Some things might resemble already existing mods, but because I did not find/could not tune existing mods to my liking, there it is:

Modifier of number of cooking ingredients required for group serving

I’m kinda annoyed at the fact that in TS3 a single serving of food uses the same number of ingredients as the group serving. In TS2, for example, while there are no separate ingredients required, unless you use a mod, there’s fridge capacity, and the number of groceries you have goes down as sims cook meals, it reduces faster when cooking a group meal. So for me in TS3 it is weird that I can cook 8 servings of Autumn Salad using only 1 lettuce.

I would like to have a tunable version of a mod which allows selecting how many of certain ingredients are to be used for group meals. I have Cinderellimouse’s Cooking and Ingredients Overhaul + More Nectar Ingredients and icarus_allsorts’ Cook With Any Ingredient mods, among others, that add new ingredients and alter cooking process, so for me it would make sense if for Waffles, let’s say, I have to use 1 carton of Milk and not 3, and one pack of spaghetti for, erm.. Spaghetti

Next one also falls in the cooking category - adjust learnt recipes in the skill journal and in the Culinary Librarian LTW.

I know that this one's been broken because EA did not update the count of recipes to be learned as they added more recipes with expansions and store content, but if you have lots of custom recipes, that LTW/skill journal challenge is completed ridiculously fast. I wish there was a way to fetch how many recipes are present in the game and make the requirement a percentage of the available recipes, instead of just some random high number.

Using food processor increases the cooking skill

Pretty self-explanatory. With the way it works now, I dislike using the processor and usually don’t bother placing it in my houses

Sims gaining weight overtime.

Once my sim rolled a couch potato trait on growing up I realized that I didn't play with that trait before, and that it's also such a pain in the ass to have if you care about the sim's appearance. The sim started gaining weight on her own, without overeating even once, and because she's a couch potato, she wouldn't work out on her own. Other sims who do not have that trait remain the same weight without exercising, or at least, they're not GAINING weight, which is more important. I can deal with the couch potato sims being chubby, but with this example I wanted to point out that the code for this feature must be there so it should be possible to make all sims gain weight. Another thing I can think of is how male sims gain weight with each trimester when they’re pregnant with alien babies after being abducted.

Ideally, it would be so cool to implement it in the way they did in TS4 with calories - desserts and sweets make sims gain weight faster, while vegetarian meals - significantly lower, but I would be very happy if slow weight gain was present in the game at all, regardless of what food sims eat.

Riding a bike increases Athletic skill + makes sims lose weight

I have Arsil’s exercise bike that can be used as gym equipment, but it would be nice if sims could have the athletic benefits of preferring a bike to a car when commuting. I think swimming already does those things.

All laptop interactions made usable on the ground + laptop can be used at picnic tables

With University, EA made the Use here interaction where laptop can be used on the ground, and some interactions - study, browse the web, and play games - were present as tones. I wonder if other interactions can be added as tones in a similar way? At least those present in the game with all expansions itself, and not added with other mods.
The picnic table being available is not that important, because it should require a custom animation, from what I can understand, but that would also be cool to have.

Routing and vehicles

I have Boring Bones’ Smart vehicle decisions mod and it already brought so much life to the town but there are still some things I wish could be changed, especially regarding taxis.

* Most importantly, I would like for user-selected interaction to override the default logic of what vehicle to use, if any.

With BB’s mod, even if I click the car in a sim’s inventory and select the option to drive to lot, the sim would walk if the lot is in the range specified by the mod as walking distance. Same with trotting/running. I would like to be able to use a car/taxi or walk to lot no matter the distance to the destination.

* Always use a taxi when the Sleep motive is low (Sleepy moodlet and below) or drunk from World of Adventures nectar, Late Night drinks, or University Life Juice keg.

* Taxi cost depends on the distance and is split up if sims in it are from different households

I have Sleepy-Genius’ Taxi Charge Mod, but there are a couple things I wish could be improved:

-Each sim pays individually, even if all sims are from one family - it would make sense to only pay the cost depending on the distance
-Charge is made once a sim takes a taxi, I would like to have at least 2-3 minutes when you can cancel the interaction (or if it cancels automatically) and sim does not have to pay.
-If a sim is carpooling with someone from another household, they are still paying for themselves - I would like the cost to be split depending on how many households are involved, so if my sim is riding with 2 of their friends from different families, my sim should only pay ⅓ of the cost, the other 2 sims don’t have to be charged automatically.

* Driving your own vehicle should also cost money

With this, my initial idea was to have an object to be bought from the grocery store - gas canister - that would be enough for the car to cover the distance of, let’s say, 5000 meters, and when the gas runs out, the car stops, and then you'll have either to walk or take a taxi. Now I find it a bit tedious and think it can be done in the same way as taxi's cost, but just less.

I think that's all of the things I wanted to mention in this thread. If anyone would be interested in making such mods, I would be be immensely grateful 🌞

Thank you to both the people who found some mods that would work for me, I had found some of them and thought I had them downloaded but apparently not lol.

Other things I'd like:
- sims can dig up dog digging spots
- land cave/mine sims can explore similar to the catacombs or miner hole
- a way to mark which table to use for eating dinner (my sims keep going to the porch because it's technically closer than the dining room)
- auto-turn off of sound systems if there isn't a sim in the room
- more occult townies if you have Supernatural installed
- longboarding as both a transportation on walking paths and a hidden skill (if you've seen experienced longboarders, they do tricks while moving)
- swim in fresh water lakes
- protein shake quick meal for athletic sims
- plasma fruit nectar helps with vampire thirst
- daycare you can send toddlers to
- single beds with high comfort, iirc all of them but one are under 6 for comfort
- more incense with different buffs
- burn herbs with incense burner
- set end time for parties
- set room(s) for parties
- more shower/tub combinations
- set Bonehilda or Butler as a sim who can open a door that's locked to people not in household

I'll probably have more again lol

This one will work for plasma fruit helping with vampires thirst: https://modthesims.info/d/520711/up...r-mermaids.html

I'd like to see one for the dog dig spots too, I see them all over with sims and never when I play games with dogs, LOL.

You can use the Transmogrifier mod to change bed scripts, or I know I've seen bed mods on here.

There's also a "set the table" mod on here which might help you with that issue: https://modthesims.info/d/535651/up...ll-to-meal.html

I wish I could have psychic powers for non-occult sims! Like the mind-reading vampires can do (at least with Enhanced Vampires anyway, I've never played vamps without it) but without having to be a vampire. Or, heck, just psychic powers for witches, I could settle for that too. But I just want one of my non-occult sims to have the ability to read people's minds and find out about their traits without having to talk to them because he's very shy.

The nerd social group will let you "mind meld" with other sims, which sort of does what you want.

True, but I play with a bunch of mods that disable social groups (as I really dislike them) so I can't even do that. :/

Another day, another new wish: more unique abilities to aliens to truly set them apart from other occult types. We have Enhanced [x] mods for just about every occult type, I wish aliens could have more abilities too. Oh and something to make inventing fun, it kind of makes sense to me.

- NRaas StoryProgression with the occult threshold increased and/or a mod like Supernatural Babies
- This should be fixed by Icarusallsort's Ingredient Moodlets from Meals
- NRaas GoHere allows inactive daycares to replace babysitters
- Using Transmogrifer or a simple override package, the script from any bed can be given to another. Also look into Echoweaver's new Logical Bed and Appliance Stats
- The world of CC is your oyster. There have got to be about a thousand different bathroom sets out there, there is no shortage of any type of object.
- NRaas GoHere again, for the advanced door locks (allows specifying sims).

thecardinalsims - Cardinal has been taken by a fey mood!

Been playing with aliens some more, wish I had a mod where they'd regain brain power by sleeping.

As in, instead of clicking on the sim and choosing "restore brain power" or in addition to their normal "restore brain power" function?

I personally think that a mod that added a Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster to fully restore brain power, but has a crash like coffee, would be so amusing for aliens.

Also, in reference to your other post

Your comment brought to mind; I wish someone could make them slightly more like Sims 4 aliens, in that they could do a werewolf-like transformation for their sim disguise and have an alien version as well. That'd be really cool!

In addition, yeah. I like to have my sims rest after a long day of going around and doing things. The "restore brain power"-interaction does not look all that restful to me, I would be alright if the animation was changed somehow to be like... say, the meditation pose with the martial arts skill. Aliens can sleep and I notice the brain power motive seems to freeze while sleeping but it does not fill up, either. I feel like sleeping should help them regain brain power, because it kind of does the same to us humans. :D
I know, I'm weird. I have a long history of sleep issues myself, sometimes I get intensely jealous at how easily my sims can fall asleep when I send them to bed.

Some objects mods I'd like:

- breadbox that you can store bread from the Barker's Station in
- coat hanger that can be used as a dresser
- underwater caves work like fairy houses but for mermaids
- recipe for WA morsels, ingredient quality effects morsel quality
- recipe for pemmican

Found a place that has a mod for riding bikes on walking paths and also allows sims to dig dog spots: https://anitmb.tumblr.com/Downloads
