I'm looking for a ownable taxi that looks like the one in the game.

I only managed to find this WCIF thread. In there they link to the private taxi from pcsims saying it looks like the one in game.



I downloaded it and while it looks similar to the one in game, it's not quite close enough for me. I especially miss the taxi light on top of the car. The version from pcsims also has a bunch of additional options and interactions which I don't really want.

It just seems strange to me, practically every other service or carpool vehicle seems to have been made ownable by someone. So that makes me think that the taxi also has to be out there somewhere.

Sorry for resurrecting this thread, but I too am currently looking for an ownable/object version of the default BG taxi car- for storytelling purposes. Does anyone know if anyone managed to create something like this. If so, WCIF it?

When following a link from Bulbizarre to furniture that can be used as pet beds, I just stumbled across this taxi by jacky93sims. Hers is actually a default replacement for the Maxis taxi, but I suspect it can be converted into an ownable driveable vehicle. Moreover jacky93 says she's available for requests just now, so she might convert it for you if you don't want to do it yourselves. Jacky93 is also active here on MTS, though she shares her creations on her simblr these days.

Jacky's taxi doesn't have the advert on the roof, but it does have the light above the front seat.
