Does no one else get uncanny valley vibes with the characters? I remember there was so many complaints/ video game “journalism” articles about having that uncanny valley feeling back in 2010 and it never occurred to me until now with this game.

I tried the demo and the people just freaked me out, I have to say I don’t care for this realism.

Also the character creator got my gpu up to ~75 degrees Celsius which seems unoptimized (even with 60fps lock and DLSS).

I love how they are being done. Not creeped out at all. Is it all a bit too perfect, too artificial? Yes, but this is a game. In today's world I could use a bit of some things like that...a bit of escape from what is going on now.

The last part of this video was hilarious.

I am a bit creeped out by the realism. I think I've always found the unreal aspect of Sims comforting somehow. Also, the light in inZoi bothers me. It's all too stark. I don't think this will be a game for me, but I'm happy for those that are getting something new to play with.

*Edit: Watching the second LGR video on gameplay and getting a different feel than all the ads I've seen. It's looking more interesting, but I am still on the fence.

I am so excited about this game. I haven't purchased yet... but I'm pretty sure I'm going to. I love early access... it means there's a chance for big and small changes before actual launch.

I'm just thrilled that there is actual competition and that EA can't squash.
