We have our 3 judges now. We actually need a 4th as an emergency judge to stand in if one of our 3 judges cannot, for some reason, judge a round. If nobody else wants to do it, I will do it myself, but I honestly hope we can get a 4th judge.

I have made a slight change to the Screenshot rules (I will check them myself) above, which means that contestants who cannot take a close enough top down image from a floor plan may take 2 more. I always have to do that when I upload a map, so I think it is fair to allow that.

Now we ony have to wait for contetants and entries Let's hope there are some simmers out there building their first round lot! And if you are busy, please have fun. One learns more from building contests than I could define in one post as well.

I will check in later to see if there are any questions as well.

I'm building! Trouble is, I have to do real life things too, which gets in the way!

By the way, did you see the postscript that I added to my last post? I think I enjoy contests more when I can integrate them with my gameplay. And I think real judges of the houses and community lots I build are the Sims who live in them and visit them! Anyway, we're on site now, and construction has started.

Also - now might be a good time to remind everyone of a 'peculiarity' of one of the judges (me).
Although, I'm not as traumatized as I once was... I really do NOT like the color orange. Love the fruit, not the color.
I try to be very fair in my judging. I won't take off points for building an all orange building.
But, if it's a tie... the not-orange (less-orange) one will win my vote.
In the interest of fairness, now you know.

I feel so guilty!! I was the one who mentioned having a contest again, which led to Simsample rekindling Justpetro's other post about this, which eventually led to it happening... And now I'm stuck without my laptop for a few weeks probably, which means I can't participate. Luck was on my bad side this time. Still, I am very excited to watch it get going, the rounds seem well thought out and I think this will be very enjoyable to follow! Good luck to everyone ~
