Default I genuinely thought that I'd have to be limited being a legacy player..
I'm beyond grateful for this list, I come on here from time to time to look at sims 4 cc but recently decided to try out sims 2. Unfortunately I was a little too late to the "Is sims 2 legacy worth it?" videos and saw the downsides after purchasing the game. I'm happy that some creators had altered their mods to work in the legacy version, since I saw TeaAddict's video and how some were incompatible and stopped the overall function of the game. THANK UUUU!! :P

I don't know if anyone else had an issue with Legacy Collection and CAS not showing anything after clicking "Add Sim", but I found that removing the file "maxis_match_widescreen_cas_fix_1920_1080.package" in my Downloads folder solved it for me.

Just letting you guys know, the business uniform fix was made by chris hatch and the original link is here: https://modthesims.info/showthread....306#post5415306

also found original links to all the other direct download mods (excluding commtime bc its on an adult website and required a login so wayback machine is useless)

sim blender: https://www.tumblr.com/gummilutt/75...for-teleporters
apartment nanny controller fix: https://web.archive.org/web/2023100...ler-global-fix/ (you will have to copy and paste the simfileshare link out of the wayback machines redirect page)

Default Legacy Edition - The Sims 2 Legacy Collection - Essential Mods Masterlist
I have the Sims 2 UC and tried to apply the first born fix patch.

I'm not sure what I have done wrong, but my game just crashes before it loads.

Is there a way i can unpatch or delete the patch and if so, where can I find it to do so?

ETA: I did a complete uninstall and re-install of the game but still have the same issue.

ETA 2: I have had to uninstall and reinstall Graphics Rule Maker, 4gb patch etc and now the game is loading. Fingers crossed it will stay that way.

Your link didn't work for me. Luckily, I'm no stranger to the Sims 2 and also think this is an essential mod, so i went searching for it and I found it

Get Parents Fix file can be found at https://modthesims.info/showthread....294#post5933294 in comment #2. Even though it isn't necessary, I still suggest replacing the link so the fix can be more easily downloaded because I find the Wayback Machine is too slow and clunky.

I had trouble accessing the Wayback Machine from Archive.org for Enthusiasm Overhaul, so here's an alternative link https://www.reddit.com/r/sims2/comm...m_overhaul_mod/. Not to mention the link has some significantly important additional information in the readme file.

I recently noticed an immersion-breaking animation where a Sim shields their eyes from the sun while walking with a stiff, unanimated trash bag! The link for Lamare's mod includes a picture illustrating this problem.

I found two mods to address this issue:
Note: I haven't tested these, yet. While I'm more familiar with TwoJeffs' work, I plan to try Lamare's mod first because it aims to fix the specific conflict rather than removing the animation entirely.

Found an auto save or autosave mod: Auto Save Game by Aaroneous. I also found 2 door lock or room lock mods: Authorized Personnel Only Security System v5.0 by Pescado and Complete Security DOOR system by Inger. I have yet to try the latter but the first one is ok. I think I'll try it tomorrow. For your information, the Simlogical page shows multiple locking and related mods.

Lamare's mod works well. I don't plan on trying TwoJeff's but I'm sure it works as intended.

Hi @JayJay55555
It's just so that a thread doesn't just become a series of one person's posts. Better to edit your last post if you have something to add, if no-one else has posted.

Oh, ok. Thank you @simsample! Seems to be quite an obscure, unusual rule.

Edit: I'll make the changes right now.

Edit: Nevermind. It looks like someone else already did it.
