Hello, ladies and gents. My request could be kind of whim but I'll ask that anyways.

Sometimes, close to often, I miss the pop up message like "tomorrow your sim's birthday" So my sim ages up instantly with no birthday party just because of my hole in the head.

I have a very complex mod from Insimenator which gives a total description about my sim's age, health state, hidden skills.And yeah I know there is the age bar in user interface. Thanks in advance for let me know that this info exists in ui and not hidden.

Poor me finds it all useless. I would like to have just a reminder or object will trigger a pop-up message about how many days are there until sim's birthday. And just like that...

So, you want a reminder of how many days there are to a sim's birthday every day?

Oh hii The best way is to have a daily automatic pop up message, let's say, 3 days before birthday, but an object with "check days to birthday" interaction would have been also nice.

I don't know about a pop up, but the age line in the UI will tell you how many days there are to a sim's birthday if you hold the mouse over it.

I think there's normally a reminder one day (or two?) before the sim has their birthday, and a second one on the actual day, so there are already reminders. You can hover over the age line in the UI to check days, so there's not much need for a separate object.

If you want to be certain your sims get to celebrate their birthday, celebrate it the day before, after you've gotten the reminder (I often do that with toddlers/babies, maybe adding a day to their lifespan first, so they age up at the "appropriate" day, especially if I want them to keep their original lifespan). At least this way they don't grow up without your knowledge.

There's also the"celebrate anytime" cakes you can use, that allows for celebrating a birthday without the sim growing up (you can use them like normal cakes, too). Neat for early parties.

There are two reminders actually. One in the day before, and one in the birthday. Hover not helps. I don't know why.

I miss Sims 4 calendar system. This is really the most groundbreaking invention in those game, while other features degrading.
