Default I'm looking for a mod that makes Sims not take out the trash all the time.
Hey Simmers, sorry to bother you with this, but I can't find the mod that stops Sims from constantly taking out the trash. They spend their lives hauling it around... I know there's a mod to make it much less frequent, but I can't find it. I searched the forum and only found a custom trash compactor, which makes it non-autonomic . I think there is a mod for all the Sims in the original game. Thanks for your help.

My go-to solution has always been to not put smaller bins around the house, but letting them use the outside bin (or a trash chute, if you have AL). Both options remove the issue of sims having to take out the same trash multiple times (which is an issue with all the indoor trash bins + trash compactor).

I also put the outside bin closer to the house (Moveobjects on) if need be.

Are all your sims neat? Mine will leave it until it's smoking green fumes. XD

Three mods (not sure if they're compatible)

http://cyjon.net/node/78 (bin must be at least half full for sims to take it out)

These are for collecting up junk food/newspapers, so sims don't feel the need to dispose of them one at a time.

Did the original clean up action give cleaning skill?

Hi, thank you so much for replying and helping me. I'm definitely going to try that mod, although I do like having the "wall-mounted trash can" (I don't know what it's called). My sims are randomly generated (99% of them), some are clean, some are normal, and some are dirty. I've never seen that trash can in green... it would be great if you could post a picture of what it looks like when it's so dirty. It's strange that something so annoying hasn't been addressed radically by anyone. Even if it weren't autonomous, that would be fine too, and if it were non-autonomous except for cleaners and butlers, that would be the best!
