I edited the contest house in order to prevent most of bugs caused 2-step foundation to occur. 2-step foundation can not be used by cats, can not be properly edited and messes up front door recognisement. Walls at the basement are also not properly cut and are better all down with 2-step foundation so you will see steep ground behind it which is very grave-looking. But I saved original contest house and can share it once requested in the comments under its original name from the contest (i.e. Riverblossom Ranch).

What???
- 2-Step foundations have no issues at all with cats or sims. The issue they have is with Large Dogs only. And if you use Simler90's Stair Mods, the issue is fixed.
- There is also no issue with finding the front door, because of a 2-Step Foundation. (No more so than the regular TS2 issues with finding the front door!)
- The 2-Step Foundation also does not cause basement wall issues. ANY "dug" basement will have that steep ground-slope. (That's why Moo made the Grid-Adjuster able to make No-Slope Basements - they don't have that slope.)

Unless... you made the 2-Step Foundation incorrectly?

Incorrectly? Maybe. That was my first time.

I had no mods in game. Believe me, I cleaned up the downloads folder for the contest. I have just two sets TS4 Basement Treasures and Industrial Loft. Pretty much far from affecting the stairs, right? And I had no issues in those paticular house with large dogs, just with cats. And that was like they had a chance of using their way around which I built there but they were not use it autonomously. Two step stairs were attempted, but their action skips every time. Cats came to it and then didn't use it.

I think Sims 2 came up very buggy which means every state is unique. So thank you very much for testing every house before sharing. Your houses are looking trustworthy. I have few of them. Without 2-step foundation but with no-slope basement.

Here you can see more of my creations and conversions for sims 3. ;) I`ll glad to see your comments in.

You should try one of my CC-Free 2-Step Foundation houses and see if you still have problems with it.
