F***ing hell i hate that logo i saw it on the news when i woke up, they where laughing at it. I think the british goverment need to get out of their cheap 1980s design books and into the present!

Stupid thing, The Sun newspaper got a monkey to do one- handed it paper and paint and it looks soooo similar to the one you posted. There should've been a competition for it which would've been better and CHEAPER! I didn't even know that the shapes said 2012. Graffitti can't be read, graffitti's always mispelt and scruffy, so if that's the symbol of the London Olympics I feel sorry for the popularity of our country, it's all down hill from here *super frown*

Trying to reach out to the younger generation? A while ago, they were saying clean up graffitti and get yobs and chavs off of the street but that's directed at them! In pink too! An awful colour, in my opinion. I'm part of the younger generation and I HATE it! I could do better than that! Infact, that monkey did better! (similar but better, obviously)

I don't know any other reason for such a logo. This is even worse then the last football (soccer for our American friends ) World Cup logo and that stupid lion without trousers.

I wouldn't say it shows England to be uncreative and boring - the majority of the country weren't the ones who created it. If people turn around and say we, as a country, are uncreative and boring, then they're very closed minded. Or think England is made up of one person.

Jeez, that little kid they got to draw the logo's gonna be rich. Honestly, it just looks like a bad colouring in job.
