As you already know, your friend and Doctor Beaker were involved with the same Alien. His name, JP Jones. That's all we have on him at the moment. When Jessie learned she was pregnant, she tried to reach Jones with the news. But he had moved away, changed his phone number. Her family was very religious and would not have approved of her being pregnant and not married. And with an half-alien child at that. So not knowing what to do, she turned to General Grunt for help. General Grunt in turned asked for my assistance. Your friend wasn't the only young woman Jones had left in the family way. So General found a small house and set me up months ago to take care of these young women.
"How many women?"
"Three. The first was Kaylnn Winston, Circe Beaker came next and then Jessie. Kaylnn was single, with no family. She told me that JP was married and going through a divorce, that he would marry her when the divorce was final. But after she told him she was pregnant, she never heard from him again.
Circe learned her husband was having an affair and turned to JP for comfort. The affair was a brief one. She also told JP she was pregnant and found out he was married, with no intention of leaving his wife. Circe knew Loki would never accept the baby and turned to your brother, Vidcund for help. He, in turn, contacted General Grunt. The General told Vidcund about me and my setup. Vidcund brought Circe here to have her baby. She was planning on leaving her husband and being with your brother, after the baby was born."

Well, I haven't seen that one coming. Vidcund and Circe getting back together? No wonder Vidcund was so broken up at her funeral.
"What happen to the children?"
"Kaylnn and Jessie's children were adopted out to local alien families. Vidcund has asked to adopt Circe's child. Since he was planning on marrying Circe and adopting the child anyway, we agreed."
"Is this why he suddenly took a job out of town?"
General Simms nodded slowly.
"And Kaylnn? What has happen to her?
"She was found in the outskirts of Strangetown, in Stranger Marsh, dead."
My jaw dropped.
"She had been beaten to death. We believe by Jones. His DNA was all over her body."

I watched as General Simms struggled to regain her composer. Clearly all three women had meant something to her. More than three women who were in trouble and in need of a safe haven, but of a woman who opened her home and her heart to them.

Now all three of these women were dead. And General Simms was taking each one personally.
"What was done to Kaylnn was crude. According to the medical reports, she and JP Jones had been lovers before he beaten her to death."
"But why?"
"My guess is he wanted the child to take back to the Hive. Upon learning she had given it up for adoption, he became enraged. So JP wooed her away to a quiet spot for a romance picnic, made love to her and then beat her to an inch of her life, leaving her there to die."

"Kaylnn was the first girl murdered. We have kept her death separate from the others in the hopes of flushing out JP Jones. But they are connected. The other Pollinations haven't made themselves known or slipped as Jones has. But sooner or later, they will."
"But General, how do we stop this......this...Nappie Attack?"
For the first time in an hour, the General smiled.
"I mean unless you ban alien-human romances and we both know how far that will go..."
"That is true," General Simms giggled. "Mine would have been the first to go....my husband was Vulcan. The only and only disagreement Buzz and I ever had."
" What we need to do is fine Jones and charge him with at least nine counts of murder. That will get him off the streets. The other two will not be so easy to find. They too, will have to be contained. But the biggest problem with be the Queen herself."
"Why? She never steps off the home planet."
"Not in this case."
"I don't understand, ma'am."
General Simms looked at me like I had a third eye. "Clearly you don't, Captain."
The General looked at her watch and waved to the waiter for the check. "We need to wrap this up. I expect you at my home tomorrow morning at eight. What I need to share needs to be in not such a public place."

Somewhere, Out There, while is a Romance story, it is also a blend of Sci-Fi and murder mystery. The story is loosely based on a novel I read as a teen about how the earth was conquered by an Alien race by simply marrying human women and raising families. One woman figured out what her husband's real intentions were, but no one listened to her and her husband had her put away as being insane. So by the third generation, the planet was no longer inhabited by humans, but the Alien race.
The setting for Strangetown is modern, but again Science Fiction overtones. In my SimLand history, Star Fleet is in existence and there is already space travel. There is a battle between two Birth Queens and war has destroyed many a planet. Several Alien race have fled to Earth, mostly in Strangetown and just want to live in peace. But they know that there is an Assassin amoung them and their only hope lies in the hands of the Paranormal Force, which Lola is part of.
It is Lola's own interest in the Paranormal and Space exploration that not only gets her tapped for this assignment to find the Assassin, but to end the war of the Queens and save earth.

June is lovely in Strangetown. The night air sweetly scented with wild desert rose, jasmine and honeysuckle. The ebony sky filled with silvery stars, once in a while, one spots an orange, blue or red ball, wondering if there is life on that big beautiful planet.
But tonight, I didn't do much stargazing, my mind still turning over and over again the information I received like rumble weed.
It's been only a month since the strange events of that brought about the meaning between General Alice Simms and I. One month ago, I was thinking of accepting a three year mission that would have carried me away from this place I call home, seeking adventure beyond the stars. Now, the insane twists and turns of this past month has me wanting the ole dull StrangeTown back.
Nine dead, three of them women who were loved and left by the same man, three babies, a deadly love bug and a perfume bottle filled with instant death, connected them all. My friend and partner, now a Queen, had to leave town without even being able to say goodbye. To top it all off, I was one of only a handful that our planet was a t war.
If I didn't know better, I would think I was in the middle of a bad science fiction novel.

Erin Beaker was sitting up, watching TV when I came in. Slowly making peace with her brother's passing and that his house was now hers, Erin had begun the slow progress of remodeling the home. The very first step; buying a TV. She was watching the late news. At least, the folks of StrangeTown were still pretty much unaware of what was going down.
Knowing I would not be able to sleep, I decided to sit up with her.
"Chloe's out on assignment." Erin volunteer without looking at me. "Seems Bella Goth was spotted near the Marsh."
Mrs. Bella Goth, wife of Scientist Mortimer Goth had gone missing a year ago. Rumours of course, abound; last seen with her daughter's boyfriend's Flat, the stories that floated about included running off with an old boyfriend, her husband caught her cheating and she was murdered, even that she was abducted by aliens. Lately, it had been rumoured she was living here in StrangeTown.
"So how's everything going?" Erin asked after a few moments.
"I could use a vacation."
Erin laughed, "this case must be kicking your butt if your wanting to go on vacation. You never use that word."
"Yeah," I nodded. I just wanted to go away to some tropical island or mountain retreat and never come back.
"Want to talk about it? Unless you can't."

There wasn't a lot I could share with Erin, but sharing the details of her brother and sister-in-law's final months might be helpful in her healing progress.
And maybe even give me an insight or two to help move this case along.
"Yeah, I knew they were cheating on each other," Erin said, with a shrug. "They were both unhappy for some time. Circe always thought herself too good for the rest of us. Always had her nose up in the air. Loki wanted a family, but Circe was too busy with her career. So he turned to one of his students at StrangeTown Tech."
You knew all of this? And never said anything?"
"Hey, it was their lives." Erin shrugged again. "One night, about ten months ago, I stopped by the house to drop off a book Loki had asked for and found Circe in the arms of this alien guy."
"And?"
"So I came over the next evening when I knew Circe would be returning home from work. I confronted Circe with what I saw; her making out with this guy. She just laughed at me. "what are you going to do, Snow White? Tell big brother? Sorry sugar. But Loki's got a little honey sweet on the side as well. He's getting his and I'm getting mine. So run along now, like a good little girl."

"I called Loki before he left worked and asked if Circe's charges were true. He admitted they were. That's how I found out about his affair. It still gave me great pleasure to tell Loki, that Circe was cheating too."
"Did you know Circe was going to have a baby?"
For the very first time Erin looked shocked. "No! A baby? Loki and she...."
"No, Circe gave birth about four months ago. It wasn't Loki's."
"The alien's?
I nodded yes.
"Is this the reason she left town?"
"Yes."
Erin began searching her memory, nodding every now and then, as if things were added up.
"Loki must have known. They both claim that Circe left town to tend for a sick relative."
She laughed softy. "Circe went away to have a baby and while she was gone, Loki went ahead and filed for divorce. Too back it wasn't finalize before she returned to StrangeTown. He and Nervous would still be alive."

Just before going to bed, I opened my bedroom window, allowing the desert night air into the room. The scent of rain mingled with the rose and jasmine.
I went to bed with Erin Beaker's words still ringing in my ears...."if the divorce had been finalize, Loki and Nervous would still be alive." Erin knew only it had been a freak accident that killed her brother and his family, not a virus that would have claimed them both within a few months. It wasn't something knowledge Erin needed at this time.
It was going to be an early morning and knowing General Simms, a long one. So I said good night and headed off to bed. Talking to my sister Chloe would have to wait until morning.
I rolled over to the sound of thunder, shaking the redbrick mansion to it very foundation.
I loved rolling thunder. It held the promise of rain and what a wonderful way to go to sleep......
I dreamt of him again, my Vulcan. He was close, so close. I could smell his scent, I could feel the warmth of his body. I rolled over to face the window and opened my eyes....
There he stood. Looking down at me.

I felt his eyes upon my sleeping form, afraid to turn and look up at him.
Afraid not to.
He was real. Not a pizza dream or a figure from a novel I had read. But real.
So very, very real.

I opened my eyes and there he stood. So real.
I stood there as he walked slowly towards me and then took me into his arms, as if I was his right to do so.
I had been kissed a few times in my life, but nothing like this, not by a man who touched not only my lips, but my very soul.

He wasn't a dream, but real. Fresh and blood. Our souls indeed met somewhere, out there and finally connected in my bedroom on this stormy June night.
I didn't even know his name, but I willingly gave him my heart as well as my soul.
As a light bolt struck near the house, my lover's touch to my body, shot through my very soul.
I didn't even know his name, but it didn't matter. I was his and he was mine.
All I knew was his love.
And that I didn't want the night to end.

......but it did end. I awoke the next morning, first with the sweet smile of memory. Then slowly, as I realize, it was nothing more than a dream.
A sweet, lovely, but in the end, a dream.

This is the end of Somewhere, Out There; A Dream. The reason? Since Origin no longer supports Sims 2, this wiped out the game this story was based upon. While I have been able to reinstall many of the special downloads that were in the story, I really cannot recreate the story. So to continue means a bit of a rewrite. Thus, the first place is Lola's dream. It is my hope and wish, with the restart of my Strangetown to make Lola's dream of love 'out there, somewhere, come true.
