Oh boy how I wish I knew how to code.

I'm not very in tune with the community here. I just download things and have made a few swatch request. Is there someone who could be good to ask to do this? Or how does that work? I know people have their own lives, so I'm willing to be a little patient.

You're asking a lot. Mootilda was a professional programmer, and, in my opinion, one of the best. In failing health in her latter years, she devoted herself to trying to thoroughly understand the workings of The Sims 2, and building useful tools to help other Simmers. It's not everyone who could step in and fill her shoes

Moreover, as I'm sure you are aware, the Legacy Edition, is extremely unstable and unreliable at present. In my opinion EA/Maxis released it prematurely. They have already released one patch for it, and are working to fix further issues. I don't think it makes much sense to start developing utilities for it until it is a lot more stable than it is just now.

However, I'm sure people have used the Lot Adjuster with their game files in non-standard locations. Is this the main problem trying to use the Lot Adjuster with the Legacy Edition: that it can't find your game files? If so, I'm pretty sure there are ways of telling it where your game files are. If, on the other hand, you find that the Lot Adjuster crashes when you try to use it with the Legacy Edition, that's almost certainly caused by the inherent instability of the Legacy Edition itself. In that case we really have to wait until the Legacy Edition is stable, before it's worth trying to tweak things for it.

All Sims are beautiful -- even the ugly ones.
