I'm going to have to say Hello Kitty by Avril Lavgine. It's not just the lyrics that make no sense or the butchered Japanese but music in the song is awful! Honestly, you could use that song for torture and it would work!

A local music festival that used to be classical chamber music (and very very well done) has been moving more and more towards the "avante-garde" music that has no lyrical quality to it whatsoever- the last concert I attended, the main performer just attached microphones and speakers to the soundboard of a grand piano, then smacked the keyboard a few times and made the kind of feedback that normally makes the audience clap their hands over their ears to block it out.
I assumed he was having trouble getting his system set up for a while, but after ten minutes, it was clear that this WAS the performance, and for once, I had no objection to members of the audience getting up and walking out. My apologies to the artist, but... That. Was. Not. Music.

The Joker by Steve Miller Band has been a least favorite of mine for a long time. It's so terribly cheesy, and not in any way that could be considered good.

I also hate almost anything by John Melloncamp. Ew.
