Sorry about the dark pictures. I don't have a time of day or week mod to control the light and time. I've had a beast of a time just getting the kids to stay in the scenes. lol.. They have to run away from the truant officer and may get repossessed if I'm not careful...

I feel like the answer's obvious, but I have a question: if the deadline passes and the minimum ten contestants isn't met, is the contest canceled? Because that would be a shame

albino-ottsel, yes, unfortunately that is the case. I don't want to keep it open until I get the correct amount of contestants as we have no idea when that would actually be. Not to mention, those of you who joined already may have upcoming commitments and were thinking the contest would be over by then. We're at 5 now, 6 once I add porky in. Which looks like I can actually do now. I was waiting for a little more information, like word count and such but it looks like it's coming along quite nicely.

IKR. Wish I could join but I'll have next to no free time in the last week of June and first two weeks of July... If only it had started a month or two later

If I didn't have to work today, I would enter. As it stands, with work involved, I won't be able to get an entry finished in 17 hours. If I had another day or two, then I might be able to get one finished. But in 17 hours? Not going to happen.

Sorry guys. I overslept this morning and didn't have enough time to finish my entry. Spent too long planning the story and not enough time writing my first chapter. I agree with porkypine about trying it again later. Middle of summer seems like it could be a good time, before school starts back up and after summer classes end. (Well, that's how it works for me anyway.)
Still, so bummed right now. I had all my pictures done too!

I really really tried. I have it written and just finished my crappy screenshots, but not enough time to put it all together and post. I just couldn't rearrange my time enough in only four days. I wish I'd known about this contest sooner. So very sad right now. Even more so since we won't get to see how anyone's story turns out. I'll check back here in case this re-opens in July as others hope (fingers crossed).

Since this contest won't re-run. Here's a very brief list of the planned chapters.
1: Fairies discuss thye arrival of the humans
2: The advent of the werewolves - first one bitten
3: The arrival of the vampires - creepy guys going around biting everyone and the need for a cure before everyone is infected.
4: The infection that kills too many resulting in the zombie invasion
5: The modern town with all those guys and the race to find a cure for their afflictions before everything goes to pot. I mean, like, we're dealing with vampire werewolf zombies! YIKES!
So that was the planned outline. :P
Actually, Now that I think of it, it is more a horror story rather than a fairy tale..... But it IS a Fairie's tale. I know, it's a terrible pun...

And I agree Tamlyn. With the exception of my contests (shameless plug: Strangetown cycle coming later this summer) there has been a lack. I have been watching because I'd like to enter one. I really wanted to enter this, just couldn't in time. Not that my one entry would have been enough
