Hey All!

First off, I want to thank you all that are still SO very helpful with us that still play Sims 3.

That said, I have a question that may or may not be able to be answered.

So a save I was playing a year ago, I was able to place a NEW lot in Appaloosa Plains where the "Tourist Trap" is (all the world editor objects deleted, pictured below.)
But now, in a fresh, new save, I am not able to place a new lot there, no matter how small or big.

Is there something I'm missing? Has this happened to anyone else? Appaloosa already doesn't have many lots, and I would like to be able to use that space.

Is there anything I can do to fix this?

I would try rotating the lot with the arrow keys to see if changing direction helps. In the screenshot above, the lot is facing towards the foot path.
