Default More than one cashier ?
Has anyone tried having more than one cashier at a lot ? I tried it but doesn't seem to help. This was just a quick test so not conclusive.

I am trying to get all the family members to have all the talent badges so I am moving them around in their roles. I would like to have a second cashier to help out when the queue starts to form. However, the customers seem to still just prefer to go to the slow queue!

I've made a few businesses with more than one cashier, and I haven't found it making much of a difference either. It does partially, though. It at least keeps your customers from throwing out their bags when your business gets to a higher level. They still seem to congregate in one big line, though. It's too often that one of my registers will be empty.

In my game, waiting customers will go to another cashier if there is a line already at one. I don't know how many customers equals a "long line" by Sims' standards (I want to say about four or so Sims). It always helps if the cashiers have a gold talent badge in the cashier department.

I don't mind if you call me "MSD" or something for short.

I tend to wait until there are three or four people in line before opening a second cashier station. Most of the time, however, a second cashier isn't really needed, so I don't keep one.
