TOS or TNG

TNG. I like a more cerebral Trek. TOS was fun but kind of goofy at times. Good thing TNG stopped trying to be like TOS its first few seasons.

Sovereign-class or Intrepid-class?

Galaxy-class or Constitution-class?

Constitution-class. It was sleek, it was new for the time, and it wasn't a luxury liner cruise ship that was randomly inconvenienced in space. Didn't Galaxy-class ships have multiple gyms and then the arboretum? Too many children for my liking as well.

Romulan D'Deridex-class Warbird or Vor'Cha class Klingon attack cruiser?

Vor'Cha class Klingon attack cruiser. I prefer Klingon's over Romulan's any day.

Kirk or Picard or Sisko or Janeway or Archer?

Captain Picard, by far. Kirk was swashbuckling but entertaining, Janeway was entertaining and principled but broke lots of ethical rules for me (lots of Prime and Temporal violations; biased interpretations of intervening, Equinox, etc.), and Sisko...eh, I just don't think the role of a strong Captain really ever appeared necessary or materialized for Deep Space Nine, since it was a space station, Bajor was nearby along with the Bajoran Wormhole, they had the Defiant, etc. It would have been "cheap" to give DS9 and super-strong captain and a Galaxy-class starship, for example, especially given the refit. Archer was okay but ENT is easily my least favorite.

Lwaxana Troi episodes or Q episodes?

Q episodes.

Romulan Ale or Saurian Brandy

Romulan Ale. Not a fan of brandy much, and I can't imagine what a reptilian form would be like...

Tribbles or Cardassian voles?

Tribbles. Because Tribbles are cute.

Romulans or Vulcans or Klingons

I consider myself to be half-Vulcan, half-Betazoid in a Trek universe, but when considering ships and culture, Klingons win. What I wouldn't do to command and pilot a Negh'Var with a group of Vor'Chas behind it. The losers are Romulans. I adore the D'Deridex-class and Scimitar-class Warbirds immensely, but Romulans themselves are "so predictably treacherous!"

Borg space or Dominion space?

Dominion Space. I wouldn't want to be assimilated by the Borg.

The Trouble with Tribbles or More Tribbles, More Troubles or Trials and Tibble-ations

The Trouble with Tribbles, with Trials and Tribble-ations a close second given the work they did on that restoration and all.

I have never seen the Animated Series.

Beverly Crusher or Katherine Pulaski?

Katherine Pulaski. I never liked Beverly.

Data or Lore

Data! Lore was just kind of creepy and poorly-executed anyway, and I never liked him. His teaming up with the Borg or the Crystalline Entity never made sense either way. Data's also one of my favorite characters in the franchise anyway.

The Tal Shiar or the Obsidian Order?

DS9 or Voyager.

Voyager had better individual episodes with a lot of misses, but DS9 did arcs better. Gah. In theory, Voyager, since I like the story and the Borg more. I think DS9 executed better and I like the arcs it did. I don't know how Voyager got away with not doing them.

Julian Bashir or Miles O'Brien

Tongo looks like a lot of fun, actually. I have to say O'Brien. Julian bothered me a lot and got downright creepy with the ladies, especially Sarina Douglas or whoever the savant was.

Probably Quarktajino, since a Raktajino has a ton of uppers and caffeine and I can't do that stuff without getting a solid day or two of insomnia. I am such a lightweight when it comes to caffeine.

USS Defiant (DS9 refit) or USS Voyager

USS Voyager, without a doubt. The Intrepid-class is a smart, maneuverable, and FAST ship. Throw in its magic healing properties and I'd probably choose it over the Galaxy-class.

Romulans or Changelings?

Changelings. Odo's awesome.
