Default Things I've found(spoilers?)/Things I'm looking for
I figured I'd list some random stuff I've found that where in non Sims 1-3 places or stuff I've seen people looking for but haven't found yet and list a few things that are starting to annoy me and maybe someone else found.

No stores, no NPCs, so where do you get the goods, my guess is businesses will be added down the road in an expansion but for now they made things sleazy easy to get things like seeds get a planter click buy seeds off it, plant them wherever silly but it is easy. Found same thing for books but not skill books not sure if they exist(if someone finds some let me know).

No bubble bath bottle required going to miss the 1 environment

Endless aging there are literally tons of potions you can buy in game the big one is the fountain of youth potion for 1500 points no Sim will ever die unless you want them to. Haven't found the point shop yet right side bottom click the big star 2 other buttons appear click the gift one.

You have to enable the mood thingies to make them work I suggest spreading them out unless you want to watch your Sim convulse if you line up a bunch of different ones tight.

The park has rocks that give rewards sometimes fossils, sometimes rocks with mood enhancers, sometimes time capsules with mood gnomes(all I've gotten so far).

Check the windows on the front of your newbie house some are stuck in walls and have to be renovated that's why its so damn dark in some houses.

For some reason edge scroll doesn't work for backing the camera but right clicking and backing does.

Upgrading objects requires parts so far only found parts from breaking stuff if anyone knows better let me know, I really like the multiple upgrades on different items, super toilet anyone.

Most minor inventory bugs can be cleared by saving and exiting to desktop relaunch and fixed.

Farming is allot easier the plants evolve to better levels vs digging through seeds to make better generations.

Some things I'm looking for both in game and mods;

1. The censor needs to go its annoying
2. For the love of God someone make a small telescope.
2. How do you drag walls? I can't get it to work tried grabbing that's not working. Am I missing something?
3 .How do you tilt the camera? Looked everywhere seems to be locked in spot.
4. Anyone figured out where to get basic foodstuffs like eggs and cheese my farming(so far) has only lowered price of some recipes not killed charges entirely.

Found some other stuff so if anyone wants to add to list of stuff they found or stuff they're looking for feel free to add.

Want to buy things go to computer > order, you have 3 options: parts for upgrading, books, and I forget the other.
To drag walls - click on a room, invisible walls appear try that?
Everything is too big, telescope and microscope WTF????
Missing a sim's birthday is not cool, they get SAD and hide in their beds, thanks for letting me know they needed a cake EA!!!
Gems add environment points, place them on a desk, table or dresser. Lots of small misc items can be placed on almost anything, and you get gifts from working and getting promoted.
I never seem to have time for my sim to do the job extras, takes me days to get some of them done.
Kids are clean FREAKS always doing chores.
Stereos suck, volume: low - can't hear, med - kinda hear, high - too loud....
Game runs smooth has a few laggy spots not too often, places you can visit will load faster after the first time.
All I can remember right now

To tilt your camera you go into game settings and change your camera mode to Sims 3 style. Makes all the rotating and moving just like sims 3
To drag the walls you have to click on it with the arrow from the tools bar on top and use the white arrows that show up and pull in the direction you want them to go.
Hope this helps a little

Thanks guys/gals it never occurred to me to check the computer for parts.
Yes the music selection sucks so far hopefully down the road.
playing super spy and getting friends is really hard(for the extra task) need to find out if long distance friend is one of the aspiration rewards.
I thought it I did change the camera setting have to go back in and look again do that and try out the wall thing.

You can also buy books directly from the bookshelf and skill books do exist. Also, there are NPCs, just not many. So many people say they've never seen a mailman, I've seen the mailman put my bills in my letterbox, so I know he exists.

I always get my bills after I log in so haven't seen him myself yet don't doubt he exists just hiding from me.

Apparently I was to close in to see the wall drag thingies. oops

And I'm putting my camera firmly in the bug/conflict category because I have to turn off sims 3 control to get the angle I want but back on to back the camera. If that's the worst I have to deal with I'm not gonna pitch a fit.

Where do you get the skill books at?.

And has anyone else noticed that aspirations tier and you get things like traits for leveling?

In the bookshelf, go to buy books and you'll see the filters along the top (I think, I'm at work at the moment and recalling this from memory). There are filters for skill books, non-fiction, etc.

I'll go look again to be honest my 2 Sims aren't big readers they love to paint and box but tell them to read and they go jogging, so haven't done much with the book shelf could also be they have the cheapo bookshelf I've noticed some better stuff gets more options.

Went back into the bookshelf first time since I fixed the windows and replaced the walls(one of which it was hanging on) and its a completely different interface then when I first looked at it but on the bright side found the skill books.

There is a custom music folder on here

C:\Users\[your user]\Documents\Electronic Arts\Los Sims 4\Custom Music

On it you can find sub-folders with the names of the different radio stations you have heard in the game (Electronica, Pop, Romance, etc...) just place your mp3 on the folder of the station you want them, and there you go. When you play that station on the game, you can listen the mp3 there. I would have prefered one folder (apart from the regular stations) just for our mp3...but at least this will do.
