also I feel like this game is better suited to having the camera close up, but i feel like its pretty much impossible to do that because i cant rotate the camera without clicking the camera button at the top of the screen to access the buttons. I cannot do that, because i would have to be doing it constantly as my sim is always moving around, and the camera should be close up. Even with the Sims 3 camera thing on I cannot rotate the camera around the sims as they go about their day.

Hi, best thing you can do is hit Options --> Controls --> tick the box called Sims 3 Controls

i did that but i still cant figure out how to rotate the camera without clicking the camera button at the top of the screen lol. thanks for your help

Use your mouse. Hold down the center scroll button and swivel the mouse to swing around.

that works i guess ill use that thank you. also the titles of the other books are great
