I keep hearing about how oooooh, the new GUI is so awesome, but to me so far it's a dysfunctional piece of crap that doesn't even let me edge scroll downwards. Something that works not only in other Sims games, but is pretty much a standard in most games that are not first person or such. It's something I've been using from SimCity to Europa Universalis to Banished to you-name-it. Having to reach for the keyboard just to frikken scroll is annoying like hell.

Is there any way (option, hack, whatever) to get my old style scrolling back, please?

You have to put the cursor right above the UI and it should scroll downwards.

Just for the record, in case anyone else has the same problem: it doesn't seem to work in build/buy mode, BUT (at least with the TS3 camera controls, dunno about default), I can press the right mouse button and drag.

Right click drag back works its annoying but not game breaking glad I'm not alone with the issue.
