how do I visit community lots?

my sim wants to go to the lounge and I've been looking for the option to send her there but I can't find it

It says I should pull up the world map... I don't see it anywhere

Use your phone and choose Travel to...

Or hit M on your keyboard (I assume for map) and it will take you to the world map screen.
