Default A 'kids sleep on floor/ teens and up blow bubbles' hack that *doesn't* conflict with inteen, plus kids can hold younger siblings
I'm not even sure if these exist, but here goes.
I know (I think it was Squinge?) made a hack that allowed kids to have sleepovers, sleep on the floor, and allowed teens and older to blow bubbles. Problem is, this was all bundled together into ONE package file, and can't be used with inteen. Does anybody know if there's a separate version by anyone, anywhere allowing older sims to play with bubbles, or kids to sleep on the floor, that doesn't conflict with inteen? I don't care so much about the sleepovers part.
I've already seen hacks that enable teens and older to sleep on the floor, but as far as I've looked there's no other one that includes kids, and I haven't seen one just for them.
Also, is there a hack anywhere that allows children to carry babies or toddlers? It would be so cute if the kids could carry around their siblings. I don't mind so much if it has the floating problem most age-enabling mods do, I just want kids to be able to carry their siblings around. It just seems odd that by now there isn't one, when it seems like something that would be completely possible to mod in.

Where did you get the one that conflicts with internet? Just curious

This one? http://www.insimenator.org/showthread.php?t=14172
I use it, and haven't noticed any conflicts with inteen (which I also have).

The problem with carrying babies is that they do it by holding the butt, so the head kinda floats unsupported in the air if any younger sims do it. There are ways to make younger sims (children) hold babies, but as said it doesn't look good and requires them to have their 'real' age set as teen or adult.

How? Is it just aging them up with simblender or something, and then stretchskeleton? Or is there something a little more sophisticated?

It's an aging trick where you do an aging/saving/out of+into lot combination in a spesific combination. Can be combined with a posebox that locks their feet in a sitting position if you want them to sit while feeding a baby - that one works for older sims, too. Stretchskeleton isn't involved in the trick itself, but can be used.

The aging trick can also be done with SimPE by only setting their age in one of the age categories (been a while since I did it, can't quite remember the spesifics there). Only way to "age" babies up to behave like for instance toddlers, since you can't age down to infant (you have to age down to the age you want the sim to be), and starting the aging trick with an infant results in an older sim that acts as a baby and can't be interacted with (it's just buggy, don't try, but I think it can be fixed in SimPE).

The aging trick is most useful for storytelling/posing, as the sim will technically be an older sim, so kids in an adult body wouldn't go to school or have play options only kids have.

Oh my gosh, I did not think I was actually going to get a reply on a years old thread - thank you!

I'm not sure I'm following though. What I'm trying to do is have child sims take care of their infant siblings. If I were to go into SimPE and flag them as teenagers, would they be able to carry the baby and change diapers, but still look like children?

Thanks!

They would act as teenagers and be able to do whatever teenagers can do (including a lot of childcare), but look like children, yes.
They are going to hover in the air and have stretched legs/arms during animations, though.

If I remember correctly (it's been a while since last time, my memory is a bit hazy), they age up from the age they're set as, not the one they look like (child-in-teen-body would age to adult) if they're aged up, so you may want to correct their age with SimPE before doing that. If not this, I definitely remember there were some aging issues.

I play with aging off anyway!

I think this is just a perfect solution to my problem!! Incredible! Thank you so, so much. I didn't expect there to be a way I could do what I wanted to do, nor for anyone to reply to such an old thread, and I'm so pleased to have been wrong on both fronts. Thank you!!!
