Hi guys, so I recently discovered The Sims Medieval (clearly I was living under a rock) and after finishing the first ambition 'The New Beginnings,' I became obsessed.
I am really a family oriented player and I love storytelling with my families, and although it can seem hard in TSM to have a big prosperous family, I found a way how to do that!
You can take some inspiration or tips from this thread as I'm making it just for fun and entertainment.

Well, you don't need any cheats or mods to have your kids grow up and inherit your sims' proffesions after they die, but if you don't want the parents to die, you can just download an awesome mod called Grim's Medieval Core!

The mod lets you to allow male pregnancy, nudity, adoption, instantly making your children adults and inheriting the parents' proffesions without them dying.

Basically I started my storytelling in the first ambition, but things got really messed up you know , so I really started in the second one, which, for me, was the 'Eternal Kingdom' one.
I started to develop two most influential families – the Caroussel family and the Parker family. I also created a family tree to keep track and not get lost, since there are no family trees inplemented in the actual game.

After some time and discovering the game, I realized I really need the biggest family tree ever, so I found the mod that could help me with it!
As you can see on the family tree, I didn't use it on the actual gameplay yet, I just had some fun testing it, so I could be aware of what it does.

My plan for future is to reach lv 50 with Ginger, the Monarch, and then let her daughter Belle inherit the throne (You can do it without the primary monarch dying with the Grim's Medieval Core). By using the mod, the monarch just becomes a townie and the child becomes an adult and starts the proffesion at lv 2.

With this mod you can also give sims any title you want. Even the ones that are not in the game. You can basically just rename them to whatever you'd like. Everytime you make a townie from your sim (unless they are called by gear titles), they go just by their name and surname – so for Empress Ginger, the Illustrious it would be only Ginger Parker.

I came up with some title ideas to spice the game up a bit:
X = proffesion name, Y = the sim's name (can be just the first name, it's up to you!)
– Former X Y -> Sim that has retired from their proffesion: Former Spy Ginger, Former Wizard Janna etc.
– Prince/ss Y -> Sim that is blood-related to the monarch or their spouse: Princess Belle, Prince Sadrick etc.
– Y, the Exiled -> Sim that was for whatever reason sent to pit (or is going to be) or to stocks: Cassandra, the Exiled etc.
– Y, the Champion -> Sim that defeated a pit beast or a powerful villain sim: David, the Champion etc.
– Y, the Undefeated Hero -> Sim that has retired from the Knight, Monarch or Spy proffesion, was lv 10+ and had really powerful gear: Ginger, the Undefeated Hero etc.
– Seer Y -> Wizard sim that uses the air, dark and force runes the most: Seer Daphne etc.
– Shaman Y -> Wizard sim that uses the air, energy and order runes the most: Shaman Katrina etc.
– Enchanter Y -> Wizard sim that uses the light, force and energy runes the most: Enchanter Patrick etc.
– Alchemist Y -> Wizard or Spy sim that creates and sells a lot of potions: Elchemist Damian etc.
– Y, the Legend -> Bard sim that uses the best lute: Kira, the Legend etc.
– Poet Y -> Bard sim that is best in writing and reciting poetry: Poet Lenna etc.
– Director Y -> Bard that directs the best plays: Director Mark etc.
– Actor/Actress Y -> Bard (or non Bard) that performs in the best plays: Actress Matylda, Actor Renee etc.
– Duelist Y -> Knight, Monarch or Spy that enjoys dueling for fun the most: Duelist Peter etc.
– Crusader Y -> Knight, Monarch or Spy that fights for the kingdom's best: Crusader Ellena etc.
– Murderer Y -> Any sim that kills other sims just for fun (by dueling, poisoning or by the mod's Deadly Arrow spell): Murderer Kevin etc.
– Assassin Y -> Sim that assassinated the Monarch: Assassin Diana etc.
– Fanatic Y -> Sim that became unhealthily obsessed with their religion: Fanatic Ava etc.
– Y, the Supreme -> Peteran or Jacoban Priest that became really influential: Patty, the Supreme etc.
