Default Struggling to make my own Cowplant--nothing happens in-game
"Value cannot be null" error when Exporting [RESOLVED-ish]
Hi, all!
I'm trying to clone the voodoo doll from the Store. Everything goes alright at first, but when I try to export my cloned version (as a package or a sims3pack) I keep getting the "value cannot be null" error.

This happens when I try to clone the Cowplant and a lot of other Store stuff, too.

I can't save the .wrk file, either.

Send help. And Pepsi.

OK, I found a way around it -- just clone it with S3OC and open that clone in TSRW instead. Worked like a charm for the Voodoo Doll--I'll need to try it out with the Cowplant.

I've been struggling for years to successfully make my own Cowplant, and nothing I do works.

I tried cloning EA's Cowplant, and the BGC version by Blams (which both work perfectly fine in my game), and both times the stupid thing just stands there. I can click it and get all the expected options, but the sim and cowplant just stand in their queue doing no animations, until the queue empties.

Like, I assumed the steps would be the same as they usually are: I auto-assigned the joints/bones in the Mesh Toolkit, and there's no geostates AFAIK, so I just imported the meshes & textures in TSRW and went about my business. But eff all is happening.

Istg this is why I stick to decor.

Update:
Welp, I just made it worse.
Now all the options are BLANK: the text is gone! I can still see the pie menu when I click it, but the words on each option (Feed, Play, etc) are gone.
I'm so done with this bullcrap.
