how do I delete my posts? please help

To delete a post, go to the post and click on edit and scroll down - you should see something like this:

By default it is set at "Do Not Delete Message", just click on the "Delete Message" option plus complete "Reason for Deletion" then "Submit Message".
The originator of the post can also go into "Edit" on the first post to change the status of the post from "Ongoing" to "Solved/Answered".
