Default Question about Isla Paradiso full moon sounds
Good evening everyone!

One thing I've always found unique about Isla Paradiso is it's unique sounds that play during the full moon cycle which include bat noises, wolves howling, insects, and other animal sounds. Sorceress Supreme did an excellent job in researching and trying all sorts of different leads but sadly all the leads never resulted in these sounds playing.

They made multiple threads about the issue in the links below:

What's strange in normal gameplay I had the sounds appear once in Riverview on a full moon, I have no idea what caused that to happen, how to replicated it but it was interesting nonetheless. It was on the fixed version of the world on an older computer however I re-downloaded it and doesn't appear in that world.

Does anybody have any ideas of what to try to get these imported or modded into a different world or a custom world? It's something that made full moons more enjoyable, more... ominous. I would like to experience them in other worlds. If anybody has any ideas or thoughts on what to try that hasn't been tried yet, that would be very much appreciated! Thank you!

Oh boy, first time me hearing about this, never noticed the different sound :'D
I think this might be handy for extracting the sounds you're looking for: it's a tool for game sounds, just recently published

I'd be amazed to know the result
Hope that helps

I am very late to respond to this, but thank you so much for the link and the resource! I really appreciate it!

I have made some recent discoveries on this..

If you put a world within:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3 Island Paradise\GameData\Shared\NonPackaged\Worlds

And then name it IslaParadiso.world

You can actually get the sounds of the full moon!! I'm not sure if that helps if anybody was looking into how to incorporate this into other worlds through mods or such that this is a step in the right direction, because I have seen some interest in this in the past, but I tested this with Riverview by putting it in that directory, renaming Riverview.world to IslaParadiso.world and by the time the full moon came out, Isla Paradiso's full moon sounds could be heard in addition to Isla Paradiso's loading screen! So I wonder if this is tied somehow to the file name or such.

If you are interested in testing this, please backup your game before you make any changes! But I'm curious to see what you all think!
