This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default Can't install Open for Business, Ask to insert TS2 DVD
The Error pops right before the update sequence. I have TS2 installed with the exe file, but the disk is beyond damage/scratched possibly. Is there something I can do to fix this?

You need to be able to update the base game in order to install any pack. In order to update the base game, you need to insert the disk. Try downloading the Sims 2 base game patch from here, get GrumpyLoader and use it to run the patch. Maybe the disk works well enough to allow the update to go through. Then you can install OFB.
