This user has the following games installed:

Sims 3, World Adventures, Ambitions, Late Night, Generations, Pets, Showtime, Supernatural, Seasons, University Life, Island Paradise
game keeps putting accessories on my sim after i take them off
for context, i installed nraas dresser because i was annoyed that when my sims would age from young adult to adult their clothes would be different from their young adult outfits even though the clothes they were wearing are still available for adults. with it installed, i went to CAS to de-age my sim, then went back into live mode to age him back up. the clothes saved, except i noticed that his outerwear outfit added an accessory for some reason. i went back into CAS to remove it, but i had a weird feeling so i switched to a different outfit and then back to outerwear. lo and behold, he had a different accessory on now. the game is putting accessories on this one sim without my input even after i remove them.

the obvious thought would be "oh, this is surely being caused by nraas" but i don't think it is. it's only happened to this one sim out of all the sims i've done the de-age+re-age thing with, and i also noticed that he aged up with this weird accessory on this outfit before i installed nraas dresser. has this happened to anyone else?

Dresser will add accessories. It may also change the ones you add. Check your settings, save and export them. You will need to import for any new save series. I also found that traveling will require import settings... usually only first time you go to a place.

Also, Seasons will apply gloves. It can be any accy you have that is based as gloves, including fingernails. But, I have never had Seasons reapply gloves after removing them.

it doesn't add them while in CAS right after you take them off though, right...? i'm pretty sure it only rerolls/adds things while in live mode, not CAS. i also have all the settings for them to add and reroll clothes turned off since i only use it for saving clothes between YA -> A age up.

i kept taking off the accessories and no matter how many times i took it off, another would take it place. i was actually able to get it to stop by putting gloves on him (the CC accessories that were being put on him were considered gloves) but man, what a weird issue. i really need to go find and remove that CC...

I did not say it adds them IN CAS. As I said, look at Dresser settings.

Yes, which is why I said to export the settings... to import to any new save series... or vacation world within a save series.

More for the OP... Nraas Overwatch can save any or all settings for any or all Nraas mods (Traveler does not seem to save settings for me). I have a general "ALL" saved setting of Nraas mods, and also a couple of variations that I import to certain worlds. You will find the saved settings in you Sim/ family/ household bin when in start game or edit mode, and can delete old saved settings there.

I don't think dresser allows you to save settings.

You can disable the check for your active household and there is a
tuning file also available to disable the the check when first loaded with a new world
https://www.nraas.net/community/Dresser
J4Ks_Dresser_Tuning_V30_Disabled_Initial_Check.zip

Here are all Dresser settings
https://www.nraas.net/community/Dresser-Interactions

And you can Export and Import ALL Nraas mod settings with Overwatch, including Dresser.

AND... why I mentioned "Overwatch", which as @C. Dark said (and I) can export any Nraas mod settings, and import them to any save. I do it from city hall, but believe computers/ laptops also work.

.but that's what my problem is. it added them in CAS... ^^;;
i already looked at dressers settings and have them set the way i want them to be set

again, this is why i said i don't think it's nraas dresser related, specifically because it happened in CAS.

OK... Well, I have never seen random accys added to a Sim while in CAS? Only things I have ever seen is Dresser adding things to Sims during game play. If notifications are off, you only find it when you look at the Sim. And again, Seasons EP tends to add gloves, but only for outerwear. Hope you find the cause. I have nothing else.

As a sidenote, if clothes or hair are not "valid for random", they will always be exchanged when a sim ages up from YA to Adult.
For CC you can easily change this with all your installed package files in your mods folder using S3PE and edit the CASP file via Grid button

All other items which are not made for other age stages you can also change, but they may don't fit right and will not look nice.
