I tried building a block of apartments today for the first time.

There are 4 apartments, an entrance door and exit door, fully furnished, apartment doors on each floor and elevators to each floor.

I’ve actually followed a YouTube video to make sure I’ve built it correctly but when I enter the cheat: changelotzoning apartmentbase, it says: Error in cheat: bad lot type.

Please help me! Is there something I’m doing wrong? Thanks in advance

Could you check your doors? It's hard to see from this angle but looks like they aren't apartment doors. I may be wrong!

Those are dorm room doors. The apartment doors are the §140 Unique Separator door that has the doormat (the mat has to be facing outside of the apartment to work).
