Default Sims 3 Launcher "can't reach this page" error
I have tried searching for a fix to this issue. The launcher was working before, but had to uninstall the game after the EA App wouldn't download new expansion packs. The error happened after reinstalling the game, with all the advice to fix it not working. Deleted the cache files from the document folder, IE is not installed so I reset Edge's data. Using LD's Launcher as well.

Isn't this the portion of the Launcher (forgive me, I've been a Steam player for many years now and use a Launcher bypass most of the time) that advertises what is supposedly on sale or might be of special interest in the TS3 Store? If that's all that is not showing or can't be reached, it may make that portion of the Launcher look strange but it should have no impact on actually getting the game started. Do things work in spite of the error?

And you do have IE installed in there someplace, even if it's well buried from the casual user. It's still a built-in part of the Windows OS to support older apps that require its resources. Unless something has changed very recently?

IE was removed from devices with Edge having a IE mode to function with sites that open with IE. However, clearing the data through here doesn't fix the option. Something I realized the last day is that I can't download Store content as it ask you to login through the launcher. When I try to login, it doesn't process it and makes it impossible to install store content.
