Hello everyone!

There seems to be a slider (or several sliders) that cause a missing limb solely in male sims. Just for the record: I don’t have any height sliders. I’ve managed to narrow the culprit list down to three sliders: Narci’s Better Male Body sliders (M only), HFO’s Wider Feet (I suppose it’s male only) and CMAR’s lower leg slider (MF).

Maybe somebody here happens to know which of the following sliders causes the issue? I’m doing a check right now without the Narci one.

Height sliders in general, are long since known to cause the missing hand effect. It's not a permanent state of affairs, coming and going all by itself. And as a pun, I'd say height sliders are not always "handy." But jokes aside, I'd say the same effect is what you're experiencing here. But now gender specific? And more than a hand, but whole limb? (Arms & legs?) Either way, it sounds to me like the same, old temporary vanishing hands glitch, that effected any gender or age if they had their height altered. But now gone even more rouge. Why settle for a hand if you can make a whole arm vanish. I'm presuming your experience of the glitch is only temporary? The limbs do eventually come back, yes? No? Ouch!

All in all, it sounds very disarming. (Enough with the crappy puns already.) What I'm getting at is, regarding the height slider hand glitch, to date there has not been a way to fix it. Just one of those things you've got to be prepared for, that can and will happen from time to time. So I'm going to assume the same for any other slider types causing very similar or same glitch. No real fix, just ride it out till hand, or limb, returns to normal visibility.

Having said that, I also remember a good while back, breast sliders made breasts vanish on women. Odd, annoying, but again only temporary. But I haven't seen that happen in a very long while, most probably as I swapped to a different CC creator for breast shapes and meshes a while ago, and haven't seen vanishing breasts since.

So in that regard, it might not be the sliders alone that cause glitch, but slider that does not work well with CC body mesh mods. But if slider is making Maxis default body mesh disappear, then yes, it's the slider alone. As like the height slider, as I don't use any CC hand meshes, just default Maxis, and they do disappear sometimes. Though not too often, and only for a short while when they do. Taking sim in and out of Cas usually clears it up.
