This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage
Default Neighbourhood freezing on loading screen (Mac Super Collection)
I'm playing with Super Collection on Mac and my Pleasantview (including subhoods) has recently stopped working and just freezes on the loading screen. I've tried removing all CC and clearing caches with no luck. I restored my latest backup and it worked fine again for a bit, but after one save the problem started again; I tried again with the same backup (having copy/pasted it to keep the backup intact) and the same happened again, at the exact same point i.e. after one save.

I do have plenty of other backups I can restore from, but I'm assuming something must have corrupted my hood and the effects aren't showing up straight away, so I don't know how far back I'll need to go to avoid it becoming an issue again later on. I can't use hoodchecker on Mac, so I'm wondering if there's any other way to figure out where the problem started?

Specs:
MacOS Monterey
Processor-1.6 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i5
Memory-16 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3
Graphics- Intel UHD Graphics 617 1536 MB

Edit: Forgot to mention but I have also checked my file limit and that doesn't seem to be the problem, I'm not too close to my original file limit but I did also try pushing it up and removing some of the hoods I wasn't using before restoring my backup just in case.

Ok, so after further testing with various backups I finally thought to check with the batbox and found quite a few corrupt memories, especially in the university households which I've just added to my rotation. Clearing these seems to have resolved the issue (I'm afraid to jinx it haha, but have played for a decent amount of time without the problem reoccurring now).
