[Testers Wanted] Social Influence Groups Reworked (Beta)
So I have been working on a Social Groups Rework. But I cannot test every aspect easily, can't predict all types of playstyles, and the more feedback the better. I completely understand if testing takes time, I just do not want to release this mod till I have more confidence it is doing what it should be doing.
This is more that just trying a turn off Social Groups mod, it is meant to have "minimal to no" Social Groups depending on the gameplay or playstyle of a player. I am open to suggestions and constructive criticism,
but please do not be offended if I do not implement changes to your likings.
What type of people who want this type of mod?
Those who want minimal to no Social Influence interference in their game as well as other features:
- Sims not gaining Influence from using certain items or using certain social interactions (Mega Phone has been left untouched "incase" needing to increase Rebel Influence for Art Appraiser career).
- Sims less likely to autonomously browse their phones (or shouldn't).
- Sims with Social Influence already, do not experience Social Influence skill decay.
- Sims can unlock the Social Influence jobs without actually fully gaining a Social Influence level.
- Buying reputation once will unlock the Job of which ever Social Group it was for but will not grant you a level if you are at -1 (basically zero rep/new game save). It only costs 100 Lifetime Rewards points and gives a very small amount of rep (enough to unlock Job but not enough to level), but should be at the same exchange if you bought rep before just at a smaller amounts at a time. So you can still buy to unlock the social trait (if you don't use Nraas cheats).
- Take Romantic Photo Together with Smart Phone, should only be available for/if Jock/Socialite Group (
Update, confirmed not working correctly yet) - Check Social Groups, removed

- University Degree and Social Group traits no longer have the red/yellow outline.
Type of testing needed:- Testers to play with minimal to no Social Influence interference in their new game, and report how it works (or how much it still doesn't).
- Testers to play with minimal to no Social Influence interference in their existing game, and report how it works (or how much it still doesn't).
- Testers to play with existing file with Social Influence levels, I do not want to complete nix Social Groups for those who want certain playthroughs to still somewhat have this feature for some save files.
- Testers to play University with a new file, to see if they have minimal or no influence gain while there.
