Nurse sim has frozen as object/fully unclickable?
Hi! First time posting because every solution I've found for similar issues hasn't worked for this. My nurse sim (the assistant to the physician) has frozen as a "Sim" object and is completely unusable or clickable, so I haven't been able to force reset her. Her character still exists in the game, but can't be summoned using Watcher's Hand mod interactions or any other cheat code/mod debug interaction. She's fully unclickable, moveable with MoveObjects on in build mode, but other than moving her around as a statue, I can't do anything else. Please help me find a way to reset her character or kill her and have her be replaced with a new nurse npc so I can use this world!

Have you tried taking control of the nurse, by Shift+left clicking on her, in which if it works she will become as the Sim you are playing with in-game. Then to release her, you will need to Shift+right click on her. But if you are able to get control of the nurse sim, you will be able to view all details about her, and any situation this Sim is experiencing, just like a hero Sim.
If you do not mind killing her off, so to speak, then you can delete her. What you need is Grim's Core, and when installed, go to the Options menu, and select to enable the debug interactions menu. Close out the options menu, and continue to play the game, get to where the nurse is, assuming the clinic, point at her with your mouse, and see if the Interactions Debug menu shows up. If it does, an option called debug will be present, click it, and more options will be available. One of them is DELETE. Click it. Make sure when you use this menu that the nurse is the Sim the menu is directed at, so no other object, or Sim gets accidentally deleted. There is also an option to kill, they would be the same. Just hope the menu will show up when you point at her and click.
Good Luck, Xeny

Hi Xeny, thank you for the response! Sadly, I tried all of this, as well as seeing if the Watcher's Hand mod functions would help, and it seems that my issue was that the nurse sim somehow turned into an object which could only be clicked on and moved in build mode with the help of mods, and all traces of her as a sim ceased to exist, so I had to abandon that world as even deleting her just left my kingdom without any kind of nurse npc, and a new one couldn't be summoned or created. I really appreciate your response though, thank you for taking time to try and figure out what went wrong, but really now I'm just left with the message of keeping backup worlds so this can't happen again.

Sometimes some crazy stuff happens in The Sims Medieval, and there is no way to repair the crazy. It's so crazy that there is the proof that it was nothing that you did. It's the game doing it. I've had some super crazy things happen in my game also, a couple years ago now, and it was before I ever used mods. Completely default game. Let us just look forward to our future kingdoms, as each of them will be different, with new experiences, many of them unexpected, and still exciting.
I have just started playing again, and I am discovering new facts and abilities I never knew before. And, they please me.
Enjoy you future kingoms.
