I'm attempting to make a maze/tomb lot for myself and a friend. It will work on an honour system, complete a task to "unlock" the next door in the maze. I'd give my friend a save game with a sim in the middle of the maze and the challenge is to get them out.

One of the challenges I'd like to set is to create a mummy, as it's the only way I can think of that allows the sim to get some company without exiting the maze. However to do that I would need to place the 5 canopic jars and a sarcophagus in the maze. I can find 3 deco canopic jars in buydebug but not the actual relics so I'm assuming I would need to place excavation spawners or treasure chests or holes in the floor/wall to spawn treasure. However I can't see which option, if any, would spawn the canopic jars. Would anyone be able to help?

I did check buydebug but the only options in there that I could see were 3 decorative canopic jars, not the actual relics unfortunately.

I don't believe it's possible to spawn a specific relic, as other than EA's scripted/pre-placed objects these come from a loot table. Like ingredients and gemstones, relics are actually one debug object that takes on different properties when it spawns- so all of the individual options do not exist as catalog entries.

What you can do is download a lot that already has these objects placed on it, move them into a sims inventory and then place them in your lot. You can also delete and replace the lot as many times as you want, for as many copies as desired.

Thank you for the link CardinalSims. It's a shame the spawner idea wouldn't work out but now I quite like the idea of hiding the canopic jars in secret rooms around the mummy room. Thank you very much for your help.
