Is this a new thing that just started happening, or have you not been able to use Bodyshop at all since the last time you installed TS2 on your current computer?

If you've not been able to use Bodyshop at all, it likely needs some setup.
1: The 4GB patch
2: Graphic Rules - if you've already set up this to get TS2 to run, you can see if it works to copy/paste the Graphic Rules file from "[Install path]\[highest EP]\TSData\Res\Config" to "[Install path]\[highest EP]\TSData\Res\CSConfig"

If you have used Bodyshop before with your current setup,
1: If there's a file called "ContentRegistry" alongside the cache files, delete that one, too.
2: Try running Bodyshop without CC (temporarily move out the files in your Downloads and SavedSims folder). Some CC files can cause Bodyshop to crash/not run.

Also make sure to not run Bodyshop while TS2, SimPE, Homecrafter, or other programs that access (and "lock" for editing) the install files and/or the savefiles in Documents is running, or you'll get that error*. Other non-TS2 programs could possibly also cause trouble if temporarily locking files.

(*Some sims-related programs can run simultaneously if opened in the proper order and/or if some actions are avoided - if I open SimPE first I can open Bodyshop after, and they run fine as long as I don't try editing or accessing TS2 files currently accessed by Bodyshop/TS2. Wrong order gets you errors, though)
