Default Ideas for house not build on a foundation.
I am building a house from a 1930's floor plan. Actually this is the second version I built. The first is on a foundation, but the picture attached to the plan shows it without a foundation so I made that version too.

Does anyone have any tips or tricks for not having the house look so raw where it meets the ground? For example, the houses in my subdivision are mostly built on a slab. They don't have a foundation, but they don't look like the siding makes direct contact with the ground.

One option is to build the house on a lower foundation. Here's a tutorial for this: https://modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=654566 (Original post from reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/sims2/comm...nt=share_button )

Another option would be to use one of those flat floor trims, or a low fence, found in the Fences section of Build Mode.
