I'm losing my mind. I can't find the files for faces and skins showing up in the game. I've found this directory for some of them: C: Program Files/EA Games/The Sims Legacy/Game Data/Skins, but cannot find the others that I'm seeing when my Sims head downtown and see the townies. And, yes, I want to mess with those files.

They are inside the far's. The base game textures are inside the Textures.far file, the meshes are inside the Animation.far file, the EP skins are inside ExpansionPack#.far files. At least it is so in the regular old version of the game. There are programs like FarOut or FarX to extract them, but I'm not sure they work with the Lagacy edition of the game.
