I've had something like this happening sometimes in my 7 generations old Sunset Valley, where tattoo artists generated by the game sometimes leave the salon and don't return there even during their work hours. So far I've just used mods to let the game generate new ones after doing a Total Annihilation on the old one that's currently doing nothing in the town. I didn't find any other posts dealing with this, hence why I'm here.

Anyone else dealt with this before that could offer a better solution than just annihilating my poor stylists whenever they wanna get out of the rat race?

Edit: Adding that the stylists in the salon work perfectly fine, it's just the tattoo artists that won't stay put.
