CC Mesh doesn't appear in SimPE and Milkshape properly
Hello! This is my first post and I'm looking for help with a mesh. I downloaded a lot of custom mods - mostly for adult female and male - and I wanted to convert them to teens/children because I can't find any "modern-looking" CC for smaller ages. I also wanted to make my own meshes, I started yesterday and I learned a lot. Question is here: why when I view CC mesh in SimPE and when I import it to Milkshape it doesn't appear properly? It works in Body Shop. What can I do to make it appear?

Are you exporting it using the object workshop? That's the wrong tool, look under the tools, PJSE, and use the body mesh too.
I haven't made my own bodyshop meshes for a while, but it should export as a .simpe, 5g--- or something like that file. Use the unimesh found here https://modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=122399 with directions on using it in milkshape.

Did you extract it directly from the mesh file, or did you extract it via the recolor with the PJSE tool?

If you use the PJSE tool, it extracts the ingame mesh it associates with the PropertySet file - and in your case it looks like it's extracted the plain "AFbodyswimwear" mesh. The PJSE extracting tool works best for extracting ingame meshes.

Try extracting it directly via the mesh file (open it, extract the mesh by right-clicking the GMDC and choosing "extract"). That's the way to go for CC meshes. No need to mess around with the PJSE tool when extracting those.

For finding CC, maybe try posting in the WCIF area - there's plenty of modern-looking CC for teens/kids/toddlers available

Oh my! I was doing a dumb thing opening the recolors, NOT the actual mesh file I was confused because I had single file packages and thought they gonna act the same way but I opened them and they contain GMDC file inside Thank you so much for your help!!
